I have a pair of 50mm 28iw rims on an all road bike. Crosswinds and speedwobbles are constant. It may be the rims or it may be the bike but I have not had the chance to play around with either. my 40mm 26iw rims on my road bike feel much more stable. both wheels are XMCS.

Have you tried to install 40mm and 26iw wheelset in you all road bike to check if the speed wobbles comes from the bike or wheels?

I had the same issue on my TanTan TT-X21. To make a very long story short, check your fork/thru axel position. My LBS mechanic simply added a washer and solved the wobble issue. I have no idea how or why adding a washer fixed the problem, or, really, what the underlying issue is, but it worked.

I have a similar gap problem with my LTk-268.
The gap is less but still 1mm between the head tube and the integrated handlebar cap or cover.
I think that maybe supplied bearing height is too high, they supplied 50*42*8 mm.....so 8 mm height and maybe will be better to install 7mm or 6,5mm height bearings to remove the gap.
I would appreciate other suggestions.
