Hi I just ordered new wheels from elite wheels for this frame, and I now have a major doubt  :o The measure of the rear axle for the rear hub is 12 x 148 (boost) right? Is it correct? In the options was the biggest one.

Hi I just received my new frame and it’s great!!
But I found this holes in the frame  :o and I was wondering if it’s normal, if you have too on your frames, and what’s their purpose!

Just one last question, about the size of the frame: I’m 170 cm tall, and I have an internal leg length of 80 cm, what size do you suggest? S or M?

Hi everyone, I’m seriously considering of buying this frame, it’s been suggested in another topic that I opened about best 120/120 downcountry frames, but I have few questions as you had already experience with it:

1. How is your general consideration after few months of use, did you have any issues, is it still a good quality frame? Any crack or break (I mean in a normal usage, not extreme jumping or similiar)
2. Did you have any issue in the building up, with weird measures, weird pieces or other stuff?
3. Is it possible to mount a 180 mm disk brake rotor on the rear, or just a 160 mm?
4. Did you have it painted by Hongfu (how is the paint quality? 2k clearcoat or less quality)?  did you leave the black matte basic paint or did you paint it yourself?
5. Is there a big difference between the superlight frame and the normal one in terms of weight? The superlight version is still reliable or is it more fragile? Did they use different materials or less carbon?

Thanks so much in advance!! I know that are many questions, but I want to be sure to do the right thing, I know that is cheaper than an official brand frame, but it’s still a lot of money!

Hi everyone, what are in your opinion, the best XC/Downcountry 120/120 mm frames with modern geometry at the moment?
What I mean is:
- Quality of the frame
- Customer service
- Easiest replaceable parts (that you can find in physical and online stores, instead of ordering from china)

Hi everyone! I have a request that is different from the last topic you were talking about.

I’m planning to buy this frame and I’d like to paint it myself.
So I have few questions for you all.
I read in another thread that Carbonda gives you two options for my case:
- a raw frame that you have to sand it and patch it yourself
- a frame that has been sanded, patched and painted with a black matte paint, that I would have to sand it again to be painted by me.

So what does it mean that you have to patch it? You don’t usually patch a broken frame?
What is the best less work/better result option between these two in your opinion?

Hi everyone, in an other discussion one of you suggest me to buy the fm1001 for a light downcountry/trail bike.

So I wrote to Carbonda and they sent me an estimate that is not cheap at all, such as 750$ and 195$ shipping tax included, plus paypal fees so around 1000$ so right now 1000€!! (I’m from Italy).
For a similar frame, Lightcarbon charges 780 bucks, shipping and taxes included, but I managed to understand that their frame had some frequent issues, am I right?

So i wanted to ask to all of you that have far much more experience that I have these questions:
-does it worth that money? (I read all of your comments, and I think you’re all quite happy with carbonda)
- they charge 15$ for the headset and 15 for the rear axle, are they any good or is it better to buy better quality components from other brands?
- Is it the same to buy from flybike? ( are they 100% the same company?)

They also suggest me workswell, are they good or are they similar to Lightcarbon? ( in terms of frequency of issues)

Hi everyone, I'm new here, I just found out that this forum exist and it's awsome, it's been few weeks that I'm looking into chinese carbone frames, but I couldn't decide what's best for me.

I'm starting my first building project, and as I mentioned in the title, I'd like to build a downcountry/trail bike for fun riding, to upgrade from the Cube Hardtail that I'm riding now.
My inspiration would be the Santa Cruz Tallboy (https://www.santacruzbicycles.com/it-IT/bikes/tallboy), so something that can climb well and can go downhill on easy trails, having fun.
I'm 1,70m tall, so I usually use M size frames.
I know that there isn't a copy of that frame (at least I didn't find it) but can anyone suggest me a frame of good quality with modern geometry, the most compatible in terms of geometry and specs with the Tallboy?
