Pat the differences I am seeing  (geometry geeks) between SL8 vs winspace gen ii, size L: winspace stack is 4.5mm shorter and reach is 7mm shorter. Winspace stem sizes tend to be 5mm more than speacialized. There are also some other handlebar options that go up to 140 (farsports, avian falcon). seems to me the differences are a wash

You mean how he faced the SL8 and voided the warranty of the frame? I trust that idiot as far as I can throw him.

Been eyeing it also, they told me they can ship a size 52 (LCR017-) in 2 days after I placed my order. However they reminded me they only have a limited supply on hand. Really not into getting frames painted, the naked color I have found works, especially since it helps me to hide new purchases from my wife. Really would like to see feedback from others who have made the purchase regarding the ride feel, especially how it compares to known brands

I am currently battling a warranty issue with Giant, regarding my (only 4 month old) Propel Advanced Pro. It's a story for another day. I'm giving them a chance to do right before I make a video on it, but the experience has left a really bad taste in my mouth for having spent $4000 all in. Warranty and dealer support is supposed to be what comes with the high price tag right lol?

Had I purchased my Tavelo Attack frameset (Nich Legend4/Adapt AT-B01) before my Propel and knew the performance would be very similar out on the road...I could have saved myself not buying a Propel.

While the Elilee Blize isn't the most ground breaking looking frame, I appreciate Elilee's approach. Perceived quality seems to be there. Gonna probably sell my Propel once warrantied, and use the money to build an Elilee. Or an SL8 comp 
To me the sweet spot for competitive Chinese bikes is the $1500-$2000 range.

See no reason to go with options outside of the mainstream (Shimano, Look, Time). You can get a Ultegra spd sl pedal for 80 or a 105 one for about 60 via ebay. Amazon has Time pedals for around 40.00  Have tried the route you are trying and ended up going back to the original. Have experienced  non original pedals {spd sl)that came not properly greased; Not as easy to clip in and out as the original. Not all cleats are manufactured with the strict standard as the original. Have some China speedplay pedals (titanium) that I purchased six months ago that have started to rust(note I do not recommend speedplay, the platform is not wide enough). Honestly my experience is you do feel the difference (originals vs copies)

My previous bike was spec'd with Shimano Claris 8 speed, and let me tell you coming from that 12s seems excessive. I honestly think 10 speed is probably all you would ever need, so I would guide the forum to save money and buy the now "old" 11 speed groupsets at lower prices. The 11-34 cassette is absolutely ridiculous, and once it wears out I will be going down to a 11-30. Previous Claris cassette was 11-28, and I was able to make it up all the mountains here in east TN. What is nice with going from 8-12 is that the jumps between cogs are much smaller, which I never realized would be that big of a deal. I feel like the only time I would ever use the 34T is if I was bonking hard

Yes I agree with you, been doing same with 11 speed di2 and most times used (but in practically new condition). Have found facebook marketplace a good source
