Received, installed and went on a 80km ride this morning on my new 60mm wheels; I am not a fast rider so aero gains are hard to evaluate for me but the upgrade on the feel side from my 50mm csc wheels is significant. The ride quality is so much better, even though I went from 40mm (Hutchinson caracal) to 32mm tires (Michelin power cup, 35mm mounted). The road buzz is significantly reduced.

UD gloss Will show Carbon, you can select a tainted clear coat for similar carbon see through but even but even better/deeper IMHO

Crash are definitely a matter of when, not if in gravel and MTB so taking that into consideration at the time of purchase makes some sense.

It Will take some serious effort from the eastern brands to establish themselves enough to have any sort of resale value outside of the small racing/enthusiast comminuty. Don’t forget that you are in an echo chamber here.

Does this mean all the other LC frames now have a “blank frame” levy against them or just the LCR020-D?

For that price, you might also get the Van Rysel D500, which is a rebranded Magene trainer.very happy with my cycplus R200

At that price I would go for the mondince. If you go 1x, you can get Ltwoo eGR groupset for 350-400€, a set of tagoola wheels for 600, that’s a solid bike.
