Hi, I assembled my Spycycle frame, size 58, everything seemed perfect, but when I went out to test it, there's play in the headset. I've tried everything, even removing it completely. When I hold the handlebars at the bottom, they move from side to side. No matter how much I tighten them, nothing works. I even tried using spacers at the top. I bought a Spycycle frame and integrated handlebar, so it should work perfectly. I'm desperate. I have it assembled without the metal race on the headset crown, as I understand it's not necessary. I measured the bearings, and they were exactly the same, so it doesn't matter which one I use at the top or bottom. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I noticed those plastic aero spacers that come with the spcycle handlebar don't fit together very well. So when i tightened down the headset i was first compressing the spacers together which meant there wasn't a gap between the top of the steerer tube and the stem. So i had to cut a couple of extra mm off the steerer tube to get everything to pre-load properly.

Looks good! Any problems dealing with the eR9 battery in the seat post?

Yes. I ended up removing the outer sheath from the batttery enclosure to fit it inside the seat post. Probably not the most weatherproof solution but this wont be a all-weather bike. ;D

I also had to file the hole for the FD cable slightly wider as it was too small for the connector on the cable to fit through.

Other than that no issues with the build up besides those caused by my own incompetence.

Quick test ride round the block now I've got it all together. Was a bit worried the colour was a bit too subdued when I first got the frame but it really pops in the sun!

Good morning, I ordered the R088 frame option with the handlebars. Does it include the GPS mount or do I have to buy it separately? Thank you.

Mine did not include any mounts.

Can you send photos of this BSA?

Its at the bike shop at the moment but the mechanic just called me to say he could fit the BB easily so it's looking like this is user error.  :-X

Got my frame the other week. The BSA threads are a bit of a mess. Can only screw the BB part way in. Fingers crossed they just need a chase out.

Anyone have any experience with paint jobs from Spcycle other than the UD glossy/matte coatings? All the pics i have seen have been UD coatings.

@PeterXu when do you expect the 170mm dub crank to be available? Thank you.
