Hey all, I’ve got an update. I ended up solving my issue, I didn’t need the split ring, but needed the Fsa supplied crown race labelled h2630a. It didn’t fit any of the other bearings because it is made for the 45 degree 45 degree bearing, which is only included in the FSA ACR no55 Low stack version. The pictures on the internet of that headset have two of the same MR127 36 45 bearings, but with the LS version, there is 1 TH MR127 bearing, and 1 TH MR261A bearing. You need to use the MR127 bearing between fork & frame, and the MR261A bearing on the top, then you use the H2630A part, and then the FSA cover, spacers, (adapter), stem. Now I can finally start the rest of the assembly :))

I'm using an FSA headset and don't have a crown race.
But I'm sure you'll need the C-ring for the top.

Is anyone Running XMC Carbon wheels with 26mm IW and 34,8 OW with Conti 5000 STR 32mm? I am wondering if this combination fits the LTK.

Alisa got in touch with the production manager:

"I've shown the pictures to our production manager to have a check . He confirms it's just the interface connection of 2 pieces of carbon material , not the crack . It formed an imprint by high temperaturer molding . You don't need to worry about it , it won't affect the quality of the frame . You can enjoy your riding !"

That might explain why there are a few frames showing this kind of “crack.” I’m not entirely convinced, though, and I’ll continue to keep an eye on that spot. However, the other pictures in this thread looked much worse.

I have similar cracks in the seat tube and I havent even assembled the bike yet.
Perhaps its just cosmetic issue?

As many have already mentioned, the M5 bolt on the seat post clamp is actually too long; it doesn't sit flush with the top tube, causing the dust cap to stick out. I’ve now bought a 30mm M5 bolt, and it fits perfectly. I’m using a Giant dust cap, and it fits perfectly now, too! I can provide feedback on the headset once my handlebar arrives. I’ve ordered the FSA No. 55 LS and a Lightest HBR17 cockpit with an FSA adapter. Still waiting for delivery!


what does your clamp look like? Mine sits about 8 mm lower than the top tube.

Unfortunately, I found a crack in the frame. It's right where the seatpost clamp is. Have any of you had something like this happen to you? I tightened the clamp to a maximum of 5 Nm.

Some people heat shrink the hoses together onto the fork. I don't. I just ran 'em so they don't cross.

The front brake line is connected to my left lever. It runs into the headset on the left side and goes straight down. The rear brake line, connected to the right lever, enters the headset on the right side. Slack is both in the HT (in 3d space, so this includes depth) and going back into the frame. The lines never cross.

So you go by the green line in the picture? Rear Brake on the right side of the handlebar and the fork? Don't the hoses cross while turning left?
I went by the purple leaving enough slack.

Same Problem Here. 30mm M5 or M6?

I‘m using a 28mm M5 Titanium. 5nm was enough to hold the seatpost.

With the frame I bought yesterday, the headset parts were included in the total price, though an expander wasn't part of the package. However, I also purchased the FSA No. 55 LS headset along with a Lightcarbon HBR17 handlebar and FSA adapter (€168)—though that part hasn't been delivered yet. I can report back on it later. The headset itself didn't cost me much (€30). Another question: does anyone happen to have a link (perhaps from Amazon) to a rubber plug or cover for the hole near the front derailleur—the one intended for the Di2 cable? I have rubber plugs at home, but they’re too big. I assume the tiny hole under the bottom bracket (facing the road surface) is supposed to stay open so water can drain out? Thanks for your help!

Has anyone got a recommendation on how to mount the Di2 Battery into the seatpost? I´ve read there is someone who has made a 3D printable file for a holder but i couldn´t find any information about it. I would appreciate any tips or diy solutions :)

I‘m using the Deda seatpost mount in wide. The Pro Mount in Wide also fits.

I am repeating myself but the standard seatclamp cover fits great on mine.

Your bike looks great but that cover is just horrific.

Hi,

I found this cover. It fits the seatpost really well. You just have to cut off about half of the small nipple. But it’s better than all the other solutions I’ve found.

Hi, it's a 160mm. I think a 140mm is possible by swapping the adapter upside down.

The frameset arrived a few days ago.
The packaging was good, and there are no scratches or anything like that.
The bottom bracket was easy to install; the threads were fine.
The caliper mounts are smooth.
In the bottom bracket area, the frame has a few sharp carbon edges on the inside, but nothing serious.

I’m still waiting for a longer cockpit and the right/final bottom bracket.

I’ll post a few updates on the assembly.  I’m satisfied. Overall, great quality.

For the headset, I’m using an FSA 36x45 on the bottom and a DEDA 45x45 on top. I’m not using the ring on the bottom one. The fork has its own, right? However, the bearing doesn’t quite fit. I’ll have to take another look and then post some photos.
