I had the same suspicion because of the identical charging port, but after digging into the technical data, it's clear that these are not the same device.
The FCC IDs confirm they are separate entities: ThinkRider (Wuxi Thinkrider Technology) is registered under 2BOPJ, while XCADEY is registered under 2ANM5.
The battery life specifications differ significantly as well. The ThinkRider PP5 is rated for 300 hours, whereas XCADEY models (including Gen2) typically offer around 150 hours. This strongly suggests different internal hardware and power management.
The magnetic 2-pin charging port is actually a generic off-the-shelf component used by several Chinese brands (including some Sigeyi models), so it's not a reliable indicator of rebranding.

Has anyone ordered one of these to the US? I can't find a seller that will ship to here

Thanks for sharing that Intel. I messaged all the sellers for the crank specs (spindle length and chainline) and none of them know. Bit of a gamble what you will end up with and PM is untested.

The power meter arrived yesterday and weighs 486 g.
It's not the lightest option, but for the price it's absolutely fine.
The app gives a clean and well organized impression.
The power meter needs to be activated within the app, and a firmware update was already offered.
I can't say anything about the accuracy yet.

Thanks for sharing, I'm thinking of picking this up in the next big sale. When you have a moment, can you measure the length of the spindle ?

Cheers, I appreciate the support. I'm just the messenger. It's the data we trust (even when it's bad, it's still data). 😅

Maybe one day there will be an industry standard these power meters have to pass before they're allowed to be sold. I suspect a LOT of power meter manufacturers don't want to see that and are happy getting away with printing whatever they like on their tech specs.

For sure, I (and probably the other members in this forum space) appreciate the work you do. Especially that you're willing to explore and test lesser known brands and their products to sort out the good and bad products - so that we know of any viable alternatives and to save money from the bigger brands.

Keep it up.

A very tempting price indeed. Does anyone have a real world experience with this PM?
