I have the Magene Teo cranks, but disappointed by the super cheap plastic preload collar, which can jump threads.  Is there an alloy aftermarket replacement? The SRAM dub aftermarket preload collar won't work as it's a different design, as far as I can see - 2 parts, whereas Magene is just 1 part. Or will the collar still fit? Anyone tried it?

following. was super confused on my first ride with these cranks. heard the plastic preload collar jiggling around as it had become undone. thought there was something wrong with my wheelset and was stuck on the side of the trail making sure they weren't going to delace

Can confirm the Muc Off alloy preload collar without the inner rings works, as inside diameter is correct. I tried some AliX options but these were for dub and the inside diameter for the threads was too small. I found the plastic original works better if tightened a little before setting the preload, as it stops the plastic threads skipping. It also has to be tightened well to stop it moving. But I still feel an alloy preload ring is a better option so sticking with the aftermarket solution.
