White wall tires refers to those tires with it's side painted white.  Pretty much for aesthetic purpose... a vintage look.

After riding this frame for 6 weeks, I love the way it soaks up bumps, goes up hills and turns in. The feel is something different and for me coming from 30-40lb bikes of many years ago it took a while to get used to it.

I felt like I was going to break it the first time I rode it. It's sort of like your first balsa wood plane, you have to play with it and learn to trust it before you throw it hard between trees. Well, I'm throwing this thing now and enjoying it.

I've made a few adjustments to the setup and although it's gained some weight, it does everything I ask of it and still puts a smile on my face. It goes anywhere and everywhere with me from now on.

Nice!  I see you have changed to more aggressive tires.  Pretty soon you'll be seeking out drops and rock gardens :)  Ok, maybe not, but mine has been great for my confidence and ability.  I don't ride anything extreme, but it is very satisfying to ride something that many people would have difficulty walking.

Too bad about the web saddle, but if the new one feels good and is durable I'd call that an upgrade.

Hi guys, here some pics of my first MTB 29er project. FM036 frame bought from Dengfu and ordered in colours as in pics.
Reba fork is 2013 and fully refurbished. Reverb is 2014. brakes are 2013 Avid. New components; 1x11 Sram GX drivetrain. Sram Roam30 rims, Schwalbe Rocket Ron Tyres. XFusion O2 shock with remote.
No issues at the first testday and already sold to one of my friends!
Next project; Fully 27.5 Plus!

Anyone on a cs-041 but a recent model. I contacted Peter and he says issue of cracking has been resolved.

This frame is incredible. Rides very very well. Great geometry. And having a dropper on a hardtail... game changer.
