Just built eGR V2 with M8100 10-51, replaced from GRX Di2 2x12.
Just put shimano pad for compatiblity check. Hood grip feels too solid and hard but shifting / braking is great.

I have the same groupo on the way. Have gone with m8100 10-45 to start, with 44t chainring. Just confirming it will clear the 51 on the back?

Yes, 10-51 working. and 10-45 works as well without shotening chain.

Regarding eGR vers. 2: has anyone seen a listing on AliX for pins and olives? The latter seem to be standard Shimano BH90, and former looked similar to Tektro, but the Ltwoo ones seem so be slightly smaller in diameter.

I have just fitted eGR v2 to my Revolt that had 11s GRX cable operated on it. I compared some spare Shimano barbs and olives to the supplied Ltwoo ones. Looked the same to me. I left the GRX brakes and lines on the bike and just slightly shortened the too long lines and fitted them to the eGR levers. I did use the supplied Ltwoo barbs and olives.

The insert came from Ltwoo, does it have the o-ring? I was wondering the major part to prevent the leak is the olives so why oring needed? Any one tried Shimano insert at the latest eGR/eR9 lever?

Yes it did have the o-ring and I used them not shimano ones.
Good point about why is it there.
There is an exclamation warning in the user manual;
Please use the oil needles and olive ferrules supplied with the Ltwoo kit
I think you are correct and they must be used.

I use bh90 olives/inserts with no issues (erx v1 and er7 v3)- no leaks, great braking performance.

New LTwoo eGR now available with flat bar shifter and dual piston brake calipers:

This is marketed as a flat bar gravel group. Any reason it can't or shouldn't be used for mtb? Aside from not having a proper clutch that is.

Yeah, why not? I thought the lack of a clutch would be a deal breaker, but not once have I needed it after 2 years with the eGR. The spring tension is quite high for everything but huge mid-air jumps!  ;)

Well, I was hesitant to give Ltwoo a go. My cable operated GRX pushed me to and with a great price, so it happened.
Only 260k on it so far but my eGR v2 is bloody good so far.
I have read people complaining of stiff rubber hoods. That is a definite plus imo. The soft floppy GRX hoods gave me the shts. The shape of the hoods is very comfortable also.
Early days, but thus far I am a big fan of eGR. 😎👌

In case anyone is ever in my situation, I found a listing for the eGR part that is prone to breaking. I was fortunate a forum member sent me a spare off their dead rear mech.

Got my AliEx order with m7100 10-51 cassette and put it on. It is tight in the 51 but works. I won't be in the 51 much, so it is fine. Very happy with the gearing  :D

Yes I have a sram xplr 13s cassette on my road bike. Really it is not compatible because the cassette is to wide. You need to have a udh compatible frame and a sram xplr rear derailleur to make it work with the wider cassette. My simple solution was to put a 2mm washer between frame and cassette. Its tight but works like a charm :)
