Yeah... that's not how the Chinese manufacturers work. Ship broken, fix in the next hardware revision, tough luck if you bought early.

haven't some people speculated the drift was mainly a hardware issue?

I see it listed as PP5/PP6. Might just be a rebadge with a newer software revision.

Saw the beta call on RedNote—not officially  launched yet. Looked up AliExpress after seeing the comments: it's still just the old faulty PP5 being sold, not the PP6. Still no official release date.

on wechat group they are selecting betatesters for the PP6. I registered a few days ago, but Im not sure if they accept non chinese people.

Checked AliExpress, saw it, but not the official store, idk if it's legit. That shop sells everything, kinda sus.

Only on by some 3rd party sellers and not on official thinkrider store. also not listed on thinkrider website. So I would presume it's not officially launched yet. (maybe 3rd party sellers are selling beta product?)
I would wait until official product.
