It looks exactly the same as the 32" frame from TanTan that was unveiled yesterday....

I like it! I am thinking of building a 32er for my local gravel roads, and to try out for Bikepacking. Fundamental question I have is weather a MTB hardtail geometry, or a gravel bike geometry would work better.   I don't know enough about 32er handling considering I haven't ridden one yet.

There still isn't all that much data from riders regarding what geometries work best for different riding conditions.

The Tideace 32er hardtail MTB frame is already on my short list.  Primarily because it uses a Superboost 157mm rear hub, and I have numerous 157mm rear hubs laying around as spares for my existing Superboost 29er hardtail build.

MTB boost axle spacing? Is this standard for 32er? I've seen some models with road boost 110x12 and 148x12

Max chainring of only 42T is a little disappointing

Consider that the rollout of a 32er wheel is 8% to 10% more due to the larger wheel. This makes a 42 chain ring equivalent to about a 46, depending on the tire you select.

When you design the frame to fit 2.4" tires, this drives a wider BB shell (T47 – 85.5 mm). This in turn pushes out the chainline.  A wider chainline works better with a Boost/148 rear hub.

sure, I get it. But this one has MTB boost axle 15x110 for the front hub rather than road 12x110 boost I've seen used on some of the western brands.
32" mtbs will have super boost and gravel bikes will upsize to boost which probably means we will need boost cranksets as well

Likely a very simple reason.  Tideace already released their (32er Superboost, 157mm Hardtail) frame and they developed, (or have access to) a 32er front fork that fits 15X110 hubs.  (Likely the fork shown in the first attached image.)

OTOH, The fork that is being sold for the hardtail 32er frame that Seraph, Meinier, BTX and SPcycle are selling use built in adapters where it is possible to change the inserts to fit 12mm thru axles.

Note:  For the life of me, I can't get images to attach. Nothing is working.  I will edit again once I figure this out...

Gravel will be Boost and MTB will be Superboost

Except...  The title of this thread states: 32er gravel frame coming- Tideacebike

I believe that this is why pavlo.k made his comment.  If this is a "gravel frame", then why is the fork a 15 X 110 mtb fork?  Superboost was re-invented and introduced (157mm rear hubs) by Pivot in 2016, and the standard still hasn't gained traction in the general MTB community.

These days we have 12 X 100, 12 X 110, 15 X 100, and 15 X 110.

All of my suspension forks are 15 X 110.  The rigid carbon forks I use on my different hardtails are both 15 X 110, and 15 X 100. My 5 year old gravel bike is 12 X 100. My brand new SPCycle SP-M028 is 12 x 100.
