I just found out that they have the G029. It's the same as the G028 but without the storage box and without mounting screws.

Aren't these marginally different frame moulds though in chainstay and subsequent wheelbase length? 435 Vs 430 on the 376. Unless it's just how they've been measured.

Spcycle G028, G029, Mondince FM346 and Meinier GRL15 are basically the same frame (with small tweaks in the seatpost for the Meinier).

Mondince FM376 is a different frame (it has different shape in the headtube, different position of the storage box, it has an indentation in the downtube, etc). But the geometry is almost identical, except for the chainstays length (430 vs 435).

What kind of rubber cap do you use to cover of the seatpost? Is it custom made?

The rubber seat post gasket is stock. Came with it.

I like the groupset well enough. I have Force axs on my road bike. Not too proud to have Apex mechanical on a bike I'll ride in the mud

Got my frame built up yesterday. Most of the components are carried over from my previous frame. Needed a different bar/stem combo, and cranks (my old cranks were road narrow). I'm waiting for bar tape to show up as well. I had a hard time finding a pink tape that wasn't neon pink.

The frame was $930 shipped to Nebraska. I ordered on 10-2 and was quoted 25 days. I received it 10-22.

I've only been able to ride it on the trainer, as I'm not cleared to ride outside by my surgeon. Hopefully I'll get to take it on its maiden voyage next week!!

My frame is ready to be shipped, might be the first XL here. Took about 2 months from ordering. I was between just clear coat on carbon or the dark green. Turned out pretty good it should look almost black in darker light.
I might go with silver udh mount to match the logo.

looks really nice and thanks for taking a dark green one ;) Now i know what a gravel would look like in my road bike color. What Pantone did you choose?

That is great. I an thinking the same, and even on highend bikes there has been quite a few issues with the lids, and that is now. Who knows how that might be in 2-3 years time, and with newer generations bikes, one does not know if the lids will be offered as replacements.

Finally got mine built! The ordering and shipping took a while, but the result was worth the wait.

I ordered from Light Cycling on August 28 because I wanted a custom paint job and really liked their paint options. It arrived on October 21, so almost 2 months from order to delivery. I paid $960 total for the frame, paint and shipping.

Paint: There was a small hiccup during painting. I'd asked for Pantone 2645 C, but the purple in the photos came out a lot darker. Daniel offered to send the frame anyway and give me a small refund if I didn't like it in person. I accepted because it still looked great in the photos, and he said the finish looks even better in real life. He was right, it really shines in person.

Build notes: Not perfect, but pretty smooth overall. A few things to watch out for:
- After dry-fitting the fork to mark the steerer cut, the top bearing wouldn't come out. I had to tap it out with a mallet and a pick. It works fine now, but the bearing fit is pretty tight.
- One of the front caliper mount threads must have gotten some paint in it. It was really stiff, but it went in with some patience and force.
- Minor paint flaw near the UDH bolt. You'd only notice it up close.
- The stock seatpost clamp bolt rounded before reaching the 8 Nm spec printed on the clamp. I swapped it for a steel bolt and have had no slippage since.

Everything else was good. The BB threaded in by hand, and the caliper mounts are faced properly (no rubbing, at least).

Build list:
- Wheels: Tagoola, 32 mm internal, 50 mm deep, 1400 g (can't remember the exact model)
- Tires: Dubnital 2.2 trail casing for winter, might go faster for summer
- Crankset: RPANTAHI 160 mm
- Power meter: Thinkrider PP5 (still testing, I think it reads a bit high)
- Chainring: Pass Quest 42T
- Bar: Uno Gravel 380 mm
- Stem: random 100 mm -10° from my parts bin
- Shifters: Ultegra Di2
- RD: Shimano RX827
- Calipers: Zrace XG. I might replace these. Bleeding them is awful and the braking doesn't feel great.
- BB: BikeOne

First impressions: The 2.2" tires are really comfortable. It's hard to judge the frame yet, since I sold my last gravel bike about 3 months ago and have mostly been riding road since. My old frame maxed out at 40 mm tires, so this feels like a different world.

Cool build and the paint looks fantastic! How wide do the Dubnital 2.2 measure on the 32mm internal rim? And how is the clearance at the chainstays?
