Hey, I'm putting together a gravel bike on a tight budget and need a few things: shorts and jerseys, SPD shoes, a saddle (my old one snapped), bar tape and a couple of bags.
I'm 187 cm and 77 kg so sizing is always a pain. Anyone ordered from China (AliExpress, Temu, whatever) and been happy with the quality? Which brands or shops would you trust, and which ones should I stay away from?
Also looking for an indoor trainer for winter. I mostly want power numbers to train, nothing fancy. Is a used smart trainer worth it, or is there something cheap that works fine?
Thanks! ;)  :)

For trainer look at cycplus, thinkrider and geoid, 3 proven budget options
For clothing, there is a thread just below dedicated to that. Personally I use spexcel and darevie

Shorts and jersey: have used darevie and ykyw and spexcel, all good stuff.
Saddle: ryet makes good and cheap 3d printed saddles. mixed 5d is also pretty good and cheap, if you don't like flat saddles
Bar tape: bucklos, or the stuff that looks like supacaz. Riderace stuff supposed to be good. The really cheap stuff and and also the stuff that may be named good horse brand (their advertising pic looks like the bar tape is farting) is not good.

Cheapest trainer you can get is a wheel on trainer, then a speed and a cadence sensor (xoss, magene, etc). You can probably find a used wheel on trainer for under $100 locally.
