Thanks! My saddle height is at 85cm - measured from BB center to the top of the saddle, parallel to the seat tube. There is roughly one more cm before i hit the "minimal insert" mark of the Mondince seatpost. So, yes, I guess it will be similar for you...

And this is the full build spec:

Really nice build 👌

I had some questions in my DM about my build, so I'm sharing it here as well.

Ride report: I only have three short rides outside so far and it's been sitting on the trainer primarily (the charm of having small kids). But I'm really happy with the initial ride impressions. Feels really fast on champagne gravel and also took it on an easy MTB trail the other day and it was really fun through tight turns and berms. I took the KOM, so it must be pretty fast. Coming from the Velobuild Aero Grav, this frame feels less rough and the extra stack height is perfect for my fit.

Also, the new Pathfinders in 2.2" are extremely nice! I rode G-One RS Pro 45 mm and Caracal Race 45 mm this year and had so many punctures. Fingers crossed the Spesh's are a little more puncture proof.

Specs:

Frame: Mondince FM376 size L in metallic silver to UD carbon glossy
Wheels: Zipp XPLR 303 S
Rear derailleur: SRAM Rival XPLR
Cassette: SRAM Force XG-1371
Chain: SRAM Force Purple
Chainring: Pass Quest 46T (0 offset)
Brake discs: Galfer Road Wave 160
Tires: Specialized Pathfinder 2.2"
Crankset: Magene TEO P515 carbon power meter 165 mm (with 3 mm DUB spacer on drive side to achieve the right chainline)
Saddle: Ryet Ultimate, 140 mm.
Integrated bars: Lexon Unox gravel, 380 x 90 mm

Weight: just over 9 kg.

Build process: This is my second full build. It went really smooth and fast and I only had some issues with the headset bearing (getting the right height for the cone spacer to not rub the frame) and with the rear brake interface not being faced properly. I still have some rubbing on the rear brake disc so will have to see a mechanic to get it sorted.

Paint job is looking really good. There's some parts around the threads not being painted fully, but that's not a big deal for me.

Quote from: alexgaignard on October 29, 2026, 12:48:53 PMFinally got mine built! The ordering and shipping took a while, but the result was worth the wait.

I ordered from Light Cycling on August 28 because I wanted a custom paint job and really liked their paint options. It arrived on October 21, so almost 2 months from order to delivery. I paid $960 total for the frame, paint and shipping.

Paint: There was a small hiccup during painting. I'd asked for Pantone 2645 C, but the purple in the photos came out a lot darker. Daniel offered to send the frame anyway and give me a small refund if I didn't like it in person. I accepted because it still looked great in the photos, and he said the finish looks even better in real life. He was right, it really shines in person.

Build notes: Not perfect, but pretty smooth overall. A few things to watch out for:
- After dry-fitting the fork to mark the steerer cut, the top bearing wouldn't come out. I had to tap it out with a mallet and a pick. It works fine now, but the bearing fit is pretty tight.
- One of the front caliper mount threads must have gotten some paint in it. It was really stiff, but it went in with some patience and force.
- Minor paint flaw near the UDH bolt. You'd only notice it up close.
- The stock seatpost clamp bolt rounded before reaching the 8 Nm spec printed on the clamp. I swapped it for a steel bolt and have had no slippage since.

Everything else was good. The BB threaded in by hand, and the caliper mounts are faced properly (no rubbing, at least).

Build list:
- Wheels: Tagoola, 32 mm internal, 50 mm deep, 1400 g (can't remember the exact model)
- Tires: Dubnital 2.2 trail casing for winter, might go faster for summer
- Crankset: RPANTAHI 160 mm
- Power meter: Thinkrider PP5 (still testing, I think it reads a bit high)
- Chainring: Pass Quest 42T
- Bar: Uno Gravel 380 mm
- Stem: random 100 mm -10° from my parts bin
- Shifters: Ultegra Di2
- RD: Shimano RX827
- Calipers: Zrace XG. I might replace these. Bleeding them is awful and the braking doesn't feel great.
- BB: BikeOne

First impressions: The 2.2" tires are really comfortable. It's hard to judge the frame yet, since I sold my last gravel bike about 3 months ago and have mostly been riding road since. My old frame maxed out at 40 mm tires, so this feels like a different world.

Hi all,

I had the same issue as quoted post with stock seatpost clamp bolt rounding so bought replacement bolts after asking Jack for the spec. I was told it's an M8x10mm 1.25mm tp, however my stock one measures 7.5mm diameter, and my replacements which measure pretty much 8mm, meet resistance after barely a half turn.

For anyone who has replaced this bolt, did a standard M8 grub screw thread in fine?

Don't want to force the replacement and damage the threads - I'm not super knowledgable on what my best move is here so any advice would be welcomed. Thanks!

Picked a M8x12 grub screw in steel as I didn't find M8x10 and it worked flawlessly

Anyone which are able to take a photo (or already taken) with road tires and this frame?

Thanks for the response, I found one in my pack of 20 that must have been slightly smaller than the rest and threaded in fine!

glos_ludu

what stem and handlebar would you recommend to this frame?
has anyone tried handlebar offered by Mondince?
I'm thinking about non-integrated cocpit to be able to adjust position if needed.

PoormansColnago

Does anyone know/ have experience if you need a specific compression ring in order to put a FSA standard integrated bar/stem combo on the frame? I think I will need the FSA H2286 compressionring in order to mount a H 2473 headset cap and get a smooth transition. Would love to know how otherw fixed this

Is the Mondince FM376 the same as Light Cycling GF08 ? Geometry is basically identical, but the FM376 has the storage box cover below the bottle cage mounting bolts (+1 for that) and the shape of the seatstays seems slightly different.

Edit: no, LC GF08 is the same as Mondince FM346 apparently. Geometry is exactly the same, but is looks like LC can paint the storage box cover, while Mondince does not.

KingLex

Finished mine today, it's an XL in glossy clear coat over raw carbon. I'm coming from an Ican Graro and wanted more tire clearance, most of the parts were reused.

The frame weight was 1486gr, the fork (uncut) 528gr.

- Wheels: Zipp XPLR 303 S
- Tires: Pathfinder 2.2 (596gr and 598gr not the lightest from what i have seen)
- Crankset: Force wide
- Chainring: Stone 44t
- Bar: FSA A Wing Pro
- Stem: FSA SMR II
- Headset: FSA NO.55R (used the mondince supplied lower bearing and put shim under FSA top cap so that it wouldn't rub on the frame)
- Shifters: Sram Apex
- RD: Rival 13 speed XPLR
- Cassette: Rival 13 speed
- Calipers: Rival
- Rotors: Sram Centerline X 160mm
- Chain: YBN MK13e
- BB: BikeOne T47
- Pedals: Shimano spd xtr m9200
- Bottle cages: Ahyka aero (had to flip the storage door upside down to remain acces)
- Seatpost: Merida S-Flex carbon seatpost
- Saddle: Prologo Scratch M5 AGX
- Computer mount: CloseTheGap raceday4 evo dm (direct stem mount)

Total weight as seen in the pictures: 9.6kg

Could someone please tell me the current delivery time for this frame, from the moment of ordering until it arrives in Europe? I was actually interested in the Lightcarbon, but with a 3-month lead time, it's no longer an attractive option for me.

jn46

I ordered mine last week and was told 15 days lead time for raw gloss, then add on delivery time.
