Has anyone purchased and/or reviewed the 2025 SP-M08 T1000 Carbon hardtail frame?

They did something funky and disconnected the seat tube from intersecting the Bottom bracket, and routed it into the down tube.   Style?  Something functional?  Add more weight to the frame?

Thoughts?

Thanks.  I get it! X-Fader technology!    LOL.   I wonder if the Spcycle version of their frame works the same as described by Orbea.

I just see more options for a cracked frame  :o

After making the oiz replica it's now time for the alma. What's next? Onno?

i think its the head angle, 67 degrees,  i'd like to try.. would it be a more stable downhill xc hardtail? But not quite as quick on switchbacks?

but no .. that seat tube should not take that bend  ;D

I'd rather be sitting straight downward to the bottom bracket.. im not light 185lbs.. ;D

Is there another carbon xc 29er hardtail with 67 degree headangle?

Hello,

I received mine: 1139g, size M, UD matte finish without accessoires.

The finish looks good. The chainstays seem a little "fragile" and the clearance seems limited with a TUFO XC12 2.35. I'll see once it's fully assembled and I've ridden it.

The geometry matches that of the Orbea Alma, but there are some differences in the frame design. It's not a perfect copy, but rather an inspired frame.

I'm curious to see if the "X-Fader" really has an effect.

Assembly is scheduled for the end of January. I'm planning on a 100 mm fork instead of the 110 mm indicated in the geometry chart—I'll see how that affects the handling.

Reckon one of these would be suitable for a rigid flat bar build?

You'd think it's pretty hard to screw up making a basic XC hardtail, and yet ;D

Hi Pierre, have you finished your build and can you share your impression on the frame?
Thank you!

HI! The build is complete, no problems during assembly. I just needed to put a thin layer of aluminum between the frame and the seatpost, because the frame tube seems a bit larger than 31.6 and my Transfer SL seatpost (not in the photo)  are very sensitive to excessive torque on the seat clamp.

I've done a few rides with the frame, a long ride (100 km) and also an XCO race. No problems! The frame works very well. Best hardtail I've ridden. Regarding the added comfort from the X-Fader, I'm not really convinced... the frame isn't uncomfortable but I don't think you can feel a big difference compared to another modern hardtail.

Sorry I couldn't resist the temptation to add stickers..
