I finally found some warm gloves.

I bought a pair of Pearl Izumi gloves earlier this winter that I apparently didn't read the label closely when I bought them. They clearly stated they were for 45-65deg F, and they weren't kidding. Very comfy at 45deg, but if you ride in them at 35deg you will be less comfortable. If you ride in them at 32deg, you will be sorry.

I have a pair of Lameda gloves on the way to me from Ali, but they appear stuck on the slow boat so I didn't get them yet. I had an event this past weekend and with the polar vortex the temps were projected to plummet. I freaked and bought a cheap pair of Inbike gloves that looked warm enough so at least I'd have options. Anyway, they turned out to be really great. They're bulky, maybe overly so. Not the greatest looking things in the world, imo. But... my fingers were nice and toasty down just below 32deg F.

Yep. Those are the ones. Amazon price wasn't much difference. I can say they were nice and warm, not very breathable so my hands did sweat some at or above freezing temps, but I guess you don't want "breathable" in a super cold weather glove.

My Lameda gloves arrived. I just rode with them this morning. I'm not impressed. The fit was good and they look nice, but they were not very warm, not very windproof, and the padding for the grip and bars was mostly cosmetic and provided no real cushioning. My hands were quite cold and the temps were above 5deg C a( 40deg F) and sunny. Pretty sure it was about 7deg C and my hands were still cold.

The spexcell ones are very good, imo. I can't claim on the longevity, but they are comfortable for +4 hours for me.

With the racing season approaching, I’m in search of short-sleeved, tight-fitting aero cycling jerseys—preferably with a clean, minimalist design (not too many decals).

I’ve been exploring options on AliExpress, but I’ve noticed it’s challenging to get accurate sizing information from vendors, even after reaching out to them. For reference, I’m quite slender, and just relying on chest/waist dimensions often leads to jerseys that fit loosely, especially around the arms.

Does anyone have recommendations for brands that cater to slim builds or any tips for finding jerseys that fit snugly? Alternatively, has anyone measured jerseys they’ve bought from AliExpress (or similar platforms) and found a reliable fit?

It's not subtle at all, but its the best aero/race fit jersey i've gotten from AliEx.

Its as good fitting and almost as breathable as my Voler aero race jersey and was only like $20.   I've got a couple aero/race fit jerseys from YKYW and Darevie as well, but they aren't as form fitting. Probably mostly due to sizing, if they offered one more size down they'd probably be perfectly aero rather than flapping a bit on my shoulders when i'm really tucked down and being alittle long in the torso.  (i'm tiny; 5'5" / 120lb)

The fit on both is race, the Raudax is the right length, the PASMAPP is on a the Asian side (2-3cm too short in length for a European jersey)
Raudax suffers from quality fade, but if you buy the expensive listings from them from their store, they do make quality, snug, properly sized for Europe, road bike jerseys. If you are the victim of quality fade and receive something that doesnt match the listing, take pictures, raise a claim, get a refund / send it back. they are not allowed to sell you something that doesnt match the description / photos. Last summer, i probably bought 20 jerseys and returned 15: rule of thumb: whenever something is very cheap, they're basically lying. But if you pay c.20-25$ per jersey, you CAN get excellent quality stuff.

It depends a lot on your budget. If you wish to pay extra, get CCN or Monton from their dedicated webpages. Lameda has good bibs, but jerseys are not that good, skinsuits are meh

I'm usually an XS or S in most western brands (89cm chest), went with the 'Asian S' size and it's a good race fit. Nice modern low collar and long sleeves. Probably not the nicest materials (YKYWBike is a little better) but the fit is excellent.

How it short it is is half the reason I like it so much,  it actually fits my torso height.  Are there any other nice jerseys you've had the same issue with?

They do sound good but your earlier comment re them being bulky and the AE pics seem to show the palm pads being both thick (3mm is mentioned but it looks more to my eye) & 90 degree angles at the edge - I wonder do you find them awkward as you move your hands around on the bar?

Agree on the Raudax stuff. Some of the styling is a pure Rapha copy, but the fabric is light and well made, and it fits much more "race" than many Asian brands. Nice silicone grippers. I'm a s/m in western brands like Assos and Castelli, a straight up M in Raudax. Even the cheap ones seem pretty nice, durability to be determined. https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805652871346.html . I'm pretty much giving up on buying $80 western brand jerseys. Winter gear is another story.

The bibs are "ok". They have the usual thick multicolored pad but are well made with good grippers as well.
