Yeah, I avoid Spexcel these days as the quality and sizing variance is just too much for me to be bothered with. For me, YKYWBike has been much more consistent in both quality and sizing.
Some recent purchases from me (for reference - 175cm, 70kg, 77cm waist, 89cm chest)
Inbike cargo shorts (size M):https://aliexpress.com/item/1005006389298648.htmlThis is the 'black with pockets' variant - I don't know whether the rest of the construction is the same as the other colours. Material quality is decent - not the most compressive but fits well. The two pockets are sturdy and great for holding small items - e.g. gloves, arm warmers etc. Padding is also surprisingly good - have worn these on multiple 200k rides without issues. Could have maybe gone with size S for a more compressive fit.
YKYWBike summer/spring long sleeve (size Asia S(EU XS)):https://aliexpress.com/item/1005006641558935.htmlMy favourite long sleeve for 8-15 degrees C - same as their summer jersey but with long sleeves. Fit is excellent. Quality is very good. Not sure I could ask for more - maybe a larger hem - but it's excellent as is. Zipped pocket is nice too.
Inbike winter cycling tights (size S-EU):https://aliexpress.com/item/1005007723940936.htmlBeing in Australia I haven't had much of a chance to test this yet - just one unseasonably cold morning ride - but these are excellent for their $26 USD price. More compressive than the bib shorts above, one pocket on the side, padding is great. I suspect that below 5 degrees C or for wet rides you might want something with wind/waterproof material but this seems like a great option for cool, dry days.
Rsantce winter thermal fleece (size Asia M):https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006761702729.htmlWent up a size from normal for this based on reviews - that was a mistake. M was definitely too big - could've easily gone with S. Unfortunate as otherwise it seems reasonable for the price - again no weatherproofing but would be nice with layers.
Hiserwa bib shorts Elastic Interface pad (size Asia M):https://aliexpress.com/item/1005006524852206.htmlI don't know how to tell a genuine EI pad from a fake, but in any case, these are quite good. Length is nice (just above the knee), and fit is
quite compressive, like I have to roll them on. Padding is nice, fit is good - not much to say (and I mean that in a good way). Black with no logos is nice and understated.
Hiserwa slim fit jersey (size Asia S):https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007425892401.htmlThe purple is more of a bluey-purple than it looks in the pictures. Material quality is okay - I probably prefer the YKYWBike ones in material quality. No zipped pocket. Fit is excellent for race fit - sleeves are nice and long (nearly down to the elbows), quite tight across the chest and waist (pretty unforgiving for carrying body fat!) but it just feels great on the bike. Was a bit underwhelmed trying it on the first time but now I've had it on a few rides it's one of my favourites.
BCBE lightweight gilet (size Asia S):https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007790819884.htmlDon't know if I'd go as far as to call it 'lightweight' but it's just a normal weight gilet. Fit is excellent - nice and tight but not constrictive. Adds a nice bit of core temperature. Has its own rear pockets. The blue colour is a rather pleasing teal. Haven't tested whether it's showerproof or not.
