Thats true. I am kinda dissapointed in it. Atleast design a knock block guard of some sort. Didnt get to know about it untill i got to try my fork out.

Just fyi to anyone whom has this frame or still going ahead.
Mtbtools. Com has a custom spacer.

Minimum space needed is 6mm for a lyrik 42 offset.
6-10mm is fine.

Shock bsuhing spacer might have some free play which needed some 1mm shim.

From reading threads on other frames I gather issues are not uncommon, specially with early versions.
The fork interference issue was picked up pretty early on this thread and solutions were offered.
I went in expecting this issue so no regrets.

Ordered a medium.
I will use a FOX34 140mm fork with a 10mm crown spacer. For the rear I got a FOX DPX2 210x50mm, probably I will get 130-135mm rear travel.

Sweet!, Thank you. Does anyone know what the outer diameter of the headtube is? Emailed Eddy earlier today and haven't yet gotten a reply, but he probably just hasn't seen it yet or doesn't know.  I'm going to have a custom head badge made up for the bike ( https://www.headbadges.com/store/p21/Steal_Your_Face.html but in a bronzy finish to match the kashima fork) but need that measurement beforehand. Also is anybody aware of whether there are any oddities relating to the seat tube? Like whether or not a normal dropper post, like the Fox Factory Transfer will fit in this frame? Does it require any special sizing or anything of the sort?

I’m still interested in a size small in color five, the orange, but THIS will NEVER not be funny to me:

Email Eddy and see if you can still get in. He is the point of contact at Haideli. His info is earlier in this thread.

You can try going to the Haideli site and do a live chat. I think they have that feature. Just remember they are in China so the time zones will be way different.

He hasn't answered my emails since last week. I've been trying to get some questions answered and order one for over a month and really close and now he has gone silent. Takes a long time when have to wait a day for a reply and when ask 2 or 3 questions and only 1 gets answered.

I think companies could do really well selling direct to consumer but all Chinese companies provide a similar experience which makes it feel like a gamble and that things are being hidden or at least not transparent. And they make it too hard to order and with too many unknowns and too much time for people to second guess themselves and back out. If they would make some pretty simple changes to their selling 'methods' they could do much better. A website with a shopping cart and online purchases along with transparency and lots of info (and that doesn't change from day to day or person to person). Oh well...just rambling
