davidriddel - what are you getting from yoeleo?
I went to the link listed above and they had nothing for MTB in any size - do you have to call on that

sorry for the delay.

The correct link for Yoeleo is www.yoeleobike.com

To date, I have ordered, received and built:
  • a 29er hardtail as a full rigid single speed (frame, forks, seat post, integrated handlebars, wheels, biddon cage)
  • a 650B soft tail as a 1x10 for my daughter (frame, biddon cage)
  • a 29er soft tail as a 1x10 (frame, seat post, integrated handlebars, biddon cage)

I have also ordered a 48cm cyclocross frame and seat post for my daughter.

To date, everything from Yoeleo has been great...

thanks for contributing, David.

As for Yoeleo, I'm kinda confused. Both of these links work.. I assume they are the same company?

http://www.yoeleo.com/

http://www.yoeleobike.com/

Speaking from an internet marketing perspective, it's probably pretty smart to have two sites like that. Build two versions of your website, try different strategies on each one, and see which one does the best and repeat those strategies in the future. Then just keep getting the traffic and sales from both. Only thing is it creates a little bit of confusion for the consumer.

When looking at the sights, www.yoeleobike.com has more items.  www.yoeleo.com doesn't have any any carbon frames in any size 26, 27.5 or 29.

Yoeleobike.com is a nice website.  However, when I went through Peter (when he was at XMIplay) his pricing was better.

Yoeleobike.com is a nice website.

Agreed. This is probably the nicest website of all the Chinese carbon vendors thus far.

One thing though. I wonder why they have pics on their site of guys riding name brand bikes? Maybe I'm missing something but that doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

Yoeleo is active on Facebook, and the marketing girl who does all of their YouTube videos is also just starting out on Strava.

I find that comms with Yoeleo via Facebook Messenger is very effective, sometimes with instant responses.

I note that by their website 'About Us' details, Yoeleo and Iplay are both in Xiamen--only a 25 min drive apart (according to Google Maps)

Anyone familiar with http://www.workswellbikes.com ?

They have one of the only 29+ 148 Boost compatible frames out there, and it looks a lot like Trek's Stache

It looks like that frame has two spots for the rear dropouts - allowing for different chainstay lengths? Interesting. Might buy some extra space for big 29+ tires.

What about Ican bikes? I'm debating about a wheelset from them.

Not sure why you'd order from Icanbikes when Peter at XMcarbonspeed.com can get you the same thing or better for a lower cost.

They are almost all in Xiamen or are sourcing from that area.  Xiamen is like the carbon fiber capitol of China and maybe the world in terms of production houses.  My coworker grew up in Xiamen and told me that one of it's major industries is carbon fiber sporting equipment manufacture (bikes, tennis racquets, fishing poles, etc)
