My final build, with DIY paintjob.

Elite Edge Wheels
Magene P505 Powermeter
Shimano 105 Di2
Ryet 3D Printed Saddle
Conti GP5000S TR
Ridenow Innertubes

Headset setup:
Specialized Tarmac SL7 and SL8 Headset Bearings Black Oxide ACB495H6.5 Bearings
Specialized S212500016 Tarmac SL7 Compression Ring with Shim

Taken it out on 1 60km ride so far, some small issues but very happy. Slipping seatpost and forgot to charge Di2 battery.

Pretty bad experience with the seller sending a primer painted frame when I requested raw carbon, then took 2 months to resolve through AliExpress. Ended with a $50 refund.

The first fork they sent had a large divet in the carbon, they sent another after some argument.

Wouldn't buy from the seller again based on this.

How much spacers do you have and which on 2x crank?

No spacers, OEM 105 Chainrings swapped onto the Magene spider powermeter. They run close but enough clearance and no rub. Shifts perfectly.

That's a good idea and I have to check these spider powermeter from Magene also.
Could you post some pictures of the left side with the left crankset with the clearance with the frame?
That would be great. Thanks in advance!

I want to share my experience with airwolf.

You get what you pay for:  my frame has the "normal" problems with the headset
and a bottom bracket area with less accuracy . Both i knew and could fix it.

In july 2024 i ordered some spareparts, payed them. 3 months later asked werner wei about the parts.
His answer was, the shipping company lost them. They will send them again.
Nothing happend. Last contact was in october 2024 with nicole. She took over from werner.
Since than nothing happend an no more response from airwolf.

Thanks for sharing your experiences @gravelista!
What has solved the headset issue in your case? For some here it seemed to help using Tarmac SL7 compression ring + bearings. Unfortunately this has not solved the headset play completely for good in my case.
How do you all check for headset play in general? By hitting the front brake quite hard while sitting on the top tube and rocking the bike forth and back?
The communication with Airwolf in regards to quality issues and in general is just ridiculous, i gave up on this...

What a shame people are experiencing issues.

Today I installed the magene p505 power meter on my 1x set up, so it will be nice to do structured training on the gravel bike :)

Recommendations for threaded bottom bracket for SRAM dub?
How about dub wide crankset, those are cheaper..

Ordered a second one of these for my GF, in the champagne pink colourway - this time I'll use the SL7 parts straight away (having to redo the cabling is such a hassle!). With the Black Friday discount it was a fantastic deal.
