Deep wheels below 1300gr without breaking the bank?

Am I beeing naive or is it possible to find a +/-60mm deep wheelset  below/around 1300gr with a modern width? Much like the Scope Artech

You are def gonna have to sacrifice on some things.

GoZone 60x26 carbon spoke might be worth a look. I got the 45x30 and they are nice. I think mine weighed in around the 1300g mark, maybe just under. And they measured about 31mm at the widest.

IMO weight is not as big of a deal with deep wheels....... I'm currently on dirt cheap Elite Wheels 66mms and despite them weighing like 1700g/pair the aero more than makes up for it. I absolutely fly even down quick rolling hill descents.

It's a reality and you don't have to spend a fortune like the Scope's. Just look at Wheelsfar.com for the Hypers 58 combo or farsports.com Evo series S6.

im in the boat to find good value wide wheelset too, to compliment my Parcours Chrono 77/86 1.7kg.
Im looking for ~23mm internal wide and 45-55 deep. any decent hub is ok, as i dont really care about ratchet noise type.

it can double as shallower wheelset on my Tri bike, or as a fatty wheel on my 2021 TCR as i plan to use it as bike-touring

Peter from xiamen carbon speed has 50mm deep, 33mm wide rims, 1200 something grams w carbon spokes. For sure he has a 60x34 version, because i'm riding it...
On price he's very competitive. He's on the forum, you can whatsapp him.
Fast on the flat. And nowhere else.

Can recommend Peter from carbonspeed. So easy to talk to. I even changed my rims after the initial purchase (thanks to Serge trend guidelines:) ) Ordered 50depth/33wide wheels with in house hub, cx ray spokes and brass nipples (no alu nipples on my wheels, ever). Hubs are ratchet and I'm 100% sure theyre not gonna cause any issues, as I run 3 of those on my mtb's. Now just time game ;)

And yea, wheels are really cheap for what youre getting.

Im on 60mm deep Elitewheels and 28mm GP5Ks at about your weight and the setup rides OK. I am on an older rim brake frame with a round seatpost though. Everything contributes. I'm switching to 45x30 with 28c tires soon.

I'm the Chinese guru of my friends, have been for years. A friend broke both wheels in a triathlon. He's got an elite vo2max (true elite, he runs the paris marathon in the first batch of people, the guy is really gifted), and during a triathlon he says he rode straight into a curb, and a nasty one at that (bigger and sharper than your average curb), at full speed, he was probably doing 40/45kmh. I wasn't there. Both rims went to the landfill, but were only actually slightly cracked. A buddy of his actually wanted to fix them, idk what happened.
So, that kind of impact will break wheels.
Other than that, we've all had crashes, we ve done gravel, gnarly stuff like tyre bottoming out on big rocks at pretty decent speeds, lalala, spokes do break, cockpits do break (a friend of mine somehow keeps crashing), but the rims remain unscathed. Carbon fiber is good at what it does, and Xiamen has been making them for so long that it's time tested. And from experience, wheels last, too. A friend of mine has this fear that OEM Chinese stuff may disintegrate over time / wouldn't pass fatigue tests, whereas branded Chinese OEM stuff doesn't. That makes no sense to me, but he's really attached to his fear / belief, it's actually interesting to see. Also, he really doesn't ride his bike enough for that to ever be a concern and... His sworks chain stay is broken. The irony... Anyway.
Buy T800 from a reputable seller, put nice spokes, if you want extra longevity get brass nipples, and you'll be fine.

Not sure what CSC is. Farsports, Xiamen carbon speed (Peter on the forum), Yuanan, Elite all have good reputation. Yuanan is the OEM for elite.
They can all do brass nipples if you ask (not elite because it's a sausage factory there and most of their rims are narrow by latest standards anyway).
Definitely ask for T800. Peter started using T1000. T700 is heavier, less stiff, and cheaper. Rotating mass doesnt matter at speed, but it matters when you accelerate, and snappy wheels feel nicer. It's a small price hike well worth it. We're all talking OEM pricing so over 2-3y (if not more) it's really not much. And resale value will be higher too.
Light bicycle also has great reputation (usually a bit more expensive) https://www.lightbicycle.com/. Lots of boutique shops in the west use these rims.
 
Honestly look for the spec you want and order from any of these. It's commoditized. Choose your spec, then based on who's treating you well & price, order.

Thanks. I googled up a shop called "Carbon Speed Cycle" based on references to "carbon speed" ITT, but it looks like you guys meant Xiamen Carbon Speed instead. Super helpful post overall, I'll get some quotes.
