BXT 135 Gravel loose bottom bracket threads
« on: January 19, 2025, 10:11:59 AM »
So this is actually my second BXT gravel 135 frame that this has happend to.
I found another video with my problem:

As you can clearly see the aluminium threads is separated from the carbon.
Any thoughts on this.

Frame purchased via Aliexpress, tried contacting them the first time about this, i dont bother doing it again. They do not care.

Well crap. My BXT 135 just arrived yesterday. I'm not a watt monster by any means, so hopefully mine will hold up.

You going to be using it for winter riding, salty roads?
I have doing that, and that seems maybe to be the issue, defently does not help the cause.
Seems to be a popular frame on here, so would be interesting to see if someon else had the similar problem

I just bought this frame exactly for doing that/ all year commuting. I hope it will be fine, I'll report if any problem occurs. Just out of curiosity - how can one fix this?

Not much of a winter in my part of the world fortunately. No salting of the roads at all and I usually ride indoors on foul weather days. We'll see how it goes.
