I'm again testing the Xcadey, outdoor, however not the whole crankset but the Gen 2. That is the link for the previous one -
https://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,6884.msg101940.html#msg101940Regarding the app, the update was around three weeks ago, it looks much different now, they changed UI. Regarding the software version, I'm using the beta now, maybe I should switch to the standard one. However If they are releasing that, I wanted to have the most up to date version.
I will work on some post later. At the moment I can say that it's very similar to indoor workouts. The difference is stable, around 10w. I didn't have any issues during the rides, with cadence, so I'm quite happy and satisfied. Moreover, I discover that sometimes my Favero was not showing the proper power fo sure. I had much more than 600w and it shows around 300 w.
The most interesting part is that I started the comparison with standard round chainring, next I switched to Oval. For the round, the difference was for some part maximum around...2w, for the whole workout the readings were almost the same for both! After the re-installation and assembling the oval chainring, I started to have 10w difference. I added some examples. The other interesting thing, which should be checked is the reading and showing/displaying of the reading. As you can see below, the maximum was 1154 and 1167, garmins showed more than 1200w during and after the ride. I making the comparison on Fenix 8 and Edge 850.
My some small thoughts and comment on the end. In general and it's rather funny. The voice of expertes sitting in front of the screen, riding for buns to the coffee shop or around the chimney like we say in Poland. People who only can criticise, doing nothing, not providing any added value. I started the comparison with the confidence that it is a crap. Then the results were not bad, sometimes almost identical, I would say acceptable for amateur. Again I will underline, stable and fair for Gen 2, which I stated many times. Then I heard, only after 600w you will find some real results. I did a lot of workouts above 600w, didn't see anything unusual and strange. Then I heard, only above 1000w is a real problem. Okay, I thought I will have some sprints later so I will check this. I'm not a sprinter, so firstly I did some 1000w, 6 times, 8 times another day, no issues, then I had some 15-20s above 1000w with values above 1200w, the same situation.
