I did not find a thread on this frameset so I open one. I have a frameset with custom paint on order and it will arrive End of November. The plan is to migrate all components from my existing road bike.

I've been in talks with Joe about purchasing an ER:One for review. But winter is approaching now and I'm already running the latest Scott Foil at the moment. Next season hopefully.

Besides the horrendous resale value on Chinese frames $4749 for an Ultegra level complete is solid deal compared to its western counterparts. At least 2 grand cheaper. And with carbon spoked wheels, Sella Italia SLR saddle. You also can actually spec the handlebars.

But you would probably make out to the same price even if you just purchased everything separately and spec'd your own wheels. Margins must be razor thin for the USA dealer.

I thought about buying a Scott Foil RC Pro frameset because I like how it looks but it has boring colorways, only limited tyre clearance (700 x 30), no UDH and a pressfit bottom bracket. So the ER:One is in my opinion very close to the Foil in terms of style.

The ER One looks like a dream bike. Especially the fork. But the price of a frameset seems a bit high, although the technologies used are advanced. It would be great to get some discounts in winter.

Sure and as Pat pointed out close to no resell value. But if you compare the specs to Western Brands the price point is much lower.

I don't want to think about reselling - I'm buying a bike for fun, not for sale))

Allow me to doubt a bit the 0 resale value. It may be a Chinese brand but not your usual oem. They are sponsor of a pro tour team, get media coverage for it and because of that will soon be pitted against the major western brands in test/comparisons. So while they won’t resale like a specialized, I do think they will have a market.

They are name sponsor of a Continental Team, not a Pro Tour Team (which is an old term by the way, it's now called WorldTeam, with the category below being called a ProTeam, and two categories down being Continental Team). While I agree that they're probably better off in resale value than some of the smaller Chinese OEMs, they are surely more on the level of something like MMR in Spain or Stevens in Germany and will hardly get the brand reputation of something like Specialized or Cannondale in the foreseeable future unless they start spending a lot more marketing money and sponsor one of the WorldTeams or bigger ProTeams.

Man this is very tempting!  Being eyeing ER one for a while, and feel will have better resale value than other Chinese brands (LC, spcycle etc..)
Need to research these CANWIN wheels though.  Also wonder if group sets are FULL ORIGINAL Dura ace.  I wish they posted more specific technical details on every component for each bike

Does anyone have some detailed information what bottle sizes do fit in the front mount? It does look like big bottles maybe won't fit because of the rise in the down tube.
I saw in a panda podium video, that 650ml fit, but could not find any further infos.
