Is there a list out there shows the frame many of the CF chinese manufacturers are emulating? The reason I ask Im looking to build a spare bike, I usually ride a x country specialized epic, but over the years have had yeti and santa cruz rentals out west that I enjoyed. So I may look to build something a little different than my current ride (a little more suspension). Also a large usually fits me very well with the manufacturers stem, crank, bar,etc stock sizes. So I would try to use the same component sizes as the baseline without the trial and error since there are so many options available these days.
