Damn Bruto, why would you do that?  Just when I'm almost off the fence on ordering an FM10 you throw this up.  77 degree seat angle, I think that is about the steepest I have seen.

no idea about price or availability

interesting. I'm hoping they add a new gravel bike to their range too. Something more progressive with better tire clearance.

I just got a reply from them, it's available for pre-order, lead time 2 months.

USD $698 per set,
USD $660 per set for 20 pieces

It's not UV resistant so either get them to paint or you can paint it yourself.

Just about to place an order for myself.

I wonder why nobody built this bike..cant find finished one.. https://www.lightcarbon.com/new-lightcarbon-best-downhill-carbon-mountain-bike-frameset-dh209_p130.html
It hasn't been on their site for long, so I doubt anyone has received one yet. Looks like a great Enduro option with more modern geometry.

For all you BIS (bike idiot savants), what is this one a clone of? I always assume most of these are based on or started out as an OEM production frame.

I like the idea of the rear cover over the split seat tube

I think they say that because they want you to pay for paint. Carbon and epoxy or polyester resin is UV resistant on it's own. normally there is no need to add paint. There are so many bare carbon bikes out there with just a clear coat on and clear coat won't give you any UV resistance. So either they are using very cheap reasin which degrades in sunlight or they want you to pay for paint.

Probably but they didn't ask me to get the paint though, just whether I wanted a matte or glossy finishing for the unpainted frame.

I asked about it and that's what they replied. I would love to be able to paint it myself but I paint like a 4 year old and I don't have a proper place to do the painting myself - between that with high humidity and dust, it'll end up horribly crappy. Plus getting someone to do it over where I am costs just as much if not more. So just decided to splurge on it.

Yep I did. Now just waiting for them to complete the build and ship it out.

I have some spare xtr brakes and shifter laying around. I still have a backup dropper and cockpit parts.. Manage to score a barely used dpx2 for $250.

What’s left is to get some 29er wheelset and fork. Using the waiting time to save up for those.

Can’t wait for the frame to arrive.
