I've had good luck looking for older DT Swiss 26" wheels. The M1800 wheels from a few years ago use 350 hubs which makes converting them to different axle standards and different drivers relatively easy.

Good looking build too.

Next issue

today recieved the bottle holder in oil slick look, very nice,
but i haven't noticed that the frame has no thread for that,  ::)

so i have to make a hole and insert one,
hopefully i don't have to paint the frame again, we will see

bottlecage has been mounted

drilled two holes in the frame using a self-built template

inserting a rivert nut and tighten it with a self-built tool using a screw and a screw nut

worked very well

custom is done,
nearly all parts have arrived,

decided to mount a 1x12 speed on the 26 frame,
think i have to change the crank set, chainline is to wide,
chain runs very diagonal even drops ob the front chainring,
not sure how to solve this, as there is not to much space to the frame

Update on the build
shifting works fine,
some issues with the frame to get it running,
chainring to Big, vorher crankset but now it works

love the colours
now waiting for brakes

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread, but I'm looking for advice for a similar build for my daughter. She's 138 cm tall but growing every day it seems. She's going to be done with her 20" by the Summer.

It seems like next up would be a 24er, or maybe a "small 26er" as well?

I know absolutely nothing about any of these types of frames or builds. I've built up a couple of road bikes, and i do all my own maintence. My first build was a TanTan road frame so I have no issues starting with a Chinese frame and I believe that I can manage the build.

I just really don't know where to start. The only Chinese 24er I could find is this one from Twitter.

Any input would be appreciated. I'm not worried about her growing out of it too soon because her sister would be next up on it. Just looking for suggestions on where to go from here or if this is even a good place to start.

Thanks!
