Thinking of building some 29" wheels with these hubs for those times I want to swap to some bigger wheels.

Couldn't find many reviews on them but they look like dt swiss 350s. Im hoping they're at least decent .

There seem to be a lot of DT Swiss 350 clones in AI.

I ordered some Goldix GDX 370 hubs for my FM10 build. They're like most of the other 350 clones, but don't have the cutouts in the HG driver. Being a big guy, that's not a place I want to save weight.

I can't say yet. I've only ordered them, they aren't due to arrive for a couple of weeks. And the bike frame won't show up for a couple of weeks afterward.

Shifter and derailleur finally came in. Delayed for a couple months and of course it gets delivered the day I leave for a week long business trip  ;D Luckily neighbors were nice enough to pick it up and make sure they're not damaged

Also got the decal on one side. Not sure if I like the look though. Was also thinking to try this metallic vinyl. What do you think?

I think it looks good but I also think it might look better if the font was bold and/or the letters were closer together.  The pattern is definitely my favorite part.

Oh that may be why I think it looks off too. I'll try make the font more bold.

BTW if you want the pattern I can send you the pic I used for it

Put on a bigger bolder decal. I like the way it looks over the previous one, but this one might actually be too big now.

It is big but it is also a monster, so...
Matching VPP decal too?  Where is the oil slick seat post clamp?  I am disappointed :)

Good point! The oversized look of it is growing on me. I think ill print one for the other side

Haha don't you worry , the seat post clamp is on the way. Its the last thing I'm waiting on

Looks good!
How much of a pain was it to do the damper body conversion?

I feel like it's going to be a pain to do a full service but swapping the damper was actually pretty quick. Just reused the oil but did need new air can lube

Wow, I personally think it looks awesome. Probably one of my favorite-looking builds here yet. Logo def looks much better after the edit, good suggestion.

Nice build, enjoy!
