Its not really an issue. Considering it's pretty much a hightower and that frame is made for both wheel sizes. Im sure tire choice will change things a bit but there's only about a 2mm difference in bb height between using my 29 and 27in wheels

Couple more more questions, just confirming that the dropper post which I can fit on this frame ( size small ) is

150mm insertion depth and 31.6 dia.. ( looking to get the one up dropper )

Trying to not get very high end as building for my kid who will use it for 3-4 years and then i will need to upgrade to a bigger frame..

The dropper seems fine, but that fork is probably too short for a 27.5 831 build.

I’m thinking about experimenting with a mixed-wheel build for the bigger tire clearance (and maybe the handling) when I get an 831 frame, and even with the 29in front wheel I don’t think I’d be happy with less than a 170 fork. Ground clearance will probably be a big issue with even a mixed wheel build but definitely a 27.5 only, and the longest travel version of the Z2 available there is 150mm, which is under-forking compared to the 160 recommended. That’s gonna be really low.

If the dropper has a 150mm insertion depth then it should work. The S frame allows for about 240mm insertion

The fork will work . Although as the other guy pointed out, it will be lower than what SC recommends on their hightower for 27.5 wheels. So you may have more pedal strikes as bb will be a bit too low.

Try the rockshox yari. It should be around $499 usd and comes in a 160mm . It has a 46mm offset but that works with frame and it's actually an option on SC's lower end hightowers. I believe they also have an upgrade kit to turn it into a lyrik if you want to go that route down the line

Zorinena, have a look at the Durolux and Auron range from SR Suntour.  I recently picked up their latest Auron35 Boost and could not be happier with it.  For me, it shits all over any Fox fork I have owned.

I'm using a durolux 36 right now on this frame and like it very much. But it was a little bit more than that bomber z2 at $750usd . not sure how much the auron is and ive never used a a bike with a fox fork to compare . However, i have ridden my uncles Enduro bike with a yari on it and I'd have to say I prefer the durolux
