Carbonda 707 Crank Set
« on: December 22, 2024, 05:00:47 PM »
Hi All
First post
I'm building a Carbonda 707 as a gravel/bike packing rig.
As such, I'm after a crank that can handle a 38 tooth + a 32 when I load 12kg of gear & ride hilly bike packing routes.
I'm told by Wing the chain line is 43.5mm.
Anyone know if I can use any Shimano cranks with the above chain rings ?
Maybe a XT x 165mm ?

I use a GRX 600 crankset with Ultegra BBR60 bottom bracket on my 707. No problems.

I would not use a MTB crank. The diameter is larger so you would have to use spacers in any case.
There's plenty of solutions, e.g. the already suggested GRX.
