Good evening everyone, as already mentioned the frame I received is raw so I disassembled everything to be able to paint it. if you want some photos or measurements of the bearings or pins ask for it. I also weighed all the individual components, for weight maniacs. The frame seems well made and finished quite well, but the bearings are full of carbon processing powder seem to me of poor quality, a bit of dancers. inside the frame is well cleaned and without scraps or cutouts of processing. one thing that left me amazed is the movement of the wagon. without shock absorber the frame struggles very much to make the whole excursion. the rear sheaths we said that they flex but I did not think so much. with bare hands it is difficult. I took a picture with the wagon disconnected, it seems that when it cushions it moves 40mm from the center of its natural trajectory. moreover the connecting rod has a considerable weight, according to me it is only covered with a sheet of carbon but it is metal. this weekand I proceed to paint then I have to wait for the handlebars but I will start to mount a few pieces, however I will constantly update you.

That's right, my friend. The bearings are of poor quality. I changed all the bearings. Could you put the measurements so we have them all, taking advantage of the fact that it is disassembled?

That shock absorber shaft is perfect, Rose told me that they were making a new one. I suppose it will be that one, and he will send it to us, and in black it is much prettier than in silver.

That frame in exposed carbon color, and in gloss I think it would be very very nice.

I have been able to try it and for now I am very happy with the performance of the frame.

Do you have a lot of experience in painting? A year a go I painted my first aluminum frame.

The best information I found came from this YouTube channel:

I also think that measuring the bearings now is a good idea. I will try to measure them tomorrow, but I will do it without disassembling them, I will do it when it is time to replace them.

Today I tried a color and two types of transparent, one opaque and one glossy, they are both very beautiful but I prefer the glossy one.

regarding the brake hose and gear cable routing, don't you think those 2 holes between the frame and the main triangle are too small and restrictive during the movement of the frame? I'm considering opening a small window in the rear frame.

These holes are ideal, the covers fit well, but I do recommend greasing the cover a little so that it fits perfectly.

I wouldn't touch the holes, to be honest.

good morning, I'm finally assembling the frame, but I noticed an incompatibility between the shock absorber and the frame, let me explain better.
on the whole frame in the part where the shock absorber is attached, there is a small hole to let the sheath of the remote control of the shock absorber come out.
i have a fox shock absorber and when i try to insert it in the assembly seat i notice that the protruding part that houses the sheath of the remote control cable hits the wall of the frame.
in this way it is not possible to assemble this shock absorber.
i could assemble it with the red knob and the valve facing upwards but then i wouldn't know where to come out with the cable.
the only solution, and i ask you if it is possible, would be to open a recess or a hole enlarging the existing one so as to be able to connect the sheath well and when the shock absorber compresses the sheath guide can move freely also towards the inside.
widening that hole I don't think it compromises the integrity of the frame for safety reasons I prefer to ask.
I attach some photos to make it clearer. thanks good work.

I haven't had that problem with my Fox Float DPS shock. But it is true that I don't think there would be any problem in enlarging the hole, with great care.

However, I know that I would tell Rose about those problems. He told me that we should let him know about any small details that could be improved. As happened with the 7.6 shock shaft.

I am in touch with Vivian, this morning she replied to me by sending a couple of photos. According to them the sheath should make a sort of S and go underneath. I am not convinced by this thing. Could you send me some photos of yours? Thanks

There should be a hole here for cable routing, blue circle.

This photo is taken from my friend's painting. If you put the shock absorber like this, you won't be able to use the bottle holder because the cable will get into the water container. We had to put the shock absorber back on like I have it, hidden cable.

I don't understand, could you please post a photo of how you assembled it? Thanks.

Hi friend.

I'm sending you the photos of how I have it, and I don't have any problems.

Sorry about the dirt on the bike, but I went out and haven't washed it yet. ;D
