Has anyone installed a rear bike rack on this bike? And if so have any recommendations for racks that fit well?
Be careful with all types of rear racks that are mounted on the rear triangle tubes, it's a risk that frame will fail. The best choice would be the Tailfin with Aerorack and all its additional accessories, but the prices are the highest on the market for such a complete solution. Another option is to adapt the Ortlieb QuickRack with a thru-axle adapter.

Here is a thread on Reddit on that topic: https://www.reddit.com/r/bikepacking/comments/12vd83l/modifying_topeaks_journey_trail_thru_axle_to_fit/?share_id=2rGWcNniPOsd78H8QVfCa&utm_content=2&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_source=share&utm_term=1

You can also find the dedicated ORTLIEB THRU AXLE adapter here, just released some time ago: https://www.rosebikes.pl/ortlieb-thru-axle-m6-connector-adapter-thru-axle-2726722?sf=1

I have an Ortlieb rack on my touring bike and am pretty happy with it, but I am also looking forward to buying the thru-axle adapter just in case I decide to use it with my G068 frame.

Bought this frame as my new daily driver. Still debating about the groupset. Did anyone have problems setting it up mechanical?

I run mechanical GRX 1x12-speed, no trouble whatsoever.

Set it up with Ultegra mechanical fully integrated, it's a pain to install but runs easily :)

Changed the headset for the Ritchey Switch one because of the top cap

Thx. Do you have a link to the Ritchey Switch headset you bought?
How do you like the bike?

This one. Mostly to avoid the top cap from SPCycle. I'm not using the ritchey stem but one from specialized and I'm using a spacer under the stem to avoid the cables from being squeezed in.

In total I'm very happy with the bike, I'm mostly using it as an road bike with big tires, almost no off road use. It's main purpose is to have a slow bike to ride with others without staying way to much under my zones

Hi
im planning to build my next gravel with this frame (or maybe with G069)
But I trying to find good 1by crankset that can accommodate both 44T and 36-38T chainring (preferably direct mount DUB standard).
I will be mostly using 44T for 99% of my rides, but once a year I`m visiting my friends in alps and there I would need to swap that front ring to smaller size since Im not that good at climbing steep hills at low cadence.

Do you guys have any recommendation for cranks from aliexpress that will fill the bill?

Hi,

I am new here and plan a Gravel Bike Setup with a UDH Transmission rear derailleur.
It is expected that SRAM is bringing new groupsets in summer for UDH Transmission for Gravel.

Can anybody say what is the difference between G068 and G069 Frames - I cant see anything relevant?

Best!

I think the only difference is that the fork in the G069 doesn't have the flippable insert at the axle to lengthen/shorten rake. I haven't adjusted on the 068 - might as well go for the 069.

Ok, i didnt see this on the (maybe) old pictures on aliexpress.

In my experience up to now you cant say by the geometry which rake is better for your setup, you have to test as other factors like stem length and chain stay length influence the bikes agility too.

I probably should have looked into a different headset system. I'm not sure if the top cap just loosened up removing the preload or what, but i was getting some play when i used my front brakes. I redid the preload to hopefully remove the play and have yet to ride it on the road since then... its been below 40F and windy :/ . I really don't want to buy new brake hoses to change it out if i can't get rid of the play. I'm using the stock bearing and C ring with the Kocevlo integrated bar and their spacer/top cap.

Finally unpacked my new G068 frame in Pearl White, Size S. Frame looks good, but subpar paint job, but that is as expected from Spcycle. I wish they offered a premium paint job for a fee, or better yet, just did a good job when painting.

Weight fork before cut, with axle: 545g
Weight frame with axle, without headset & UDH: 1195g

Order placed march 3., shipped march 12., arraived norway march 31.

Bulding this one up with GRX Di2 12s 2by.

Whats not good about the paint job? It looks nice! Mine is shipping tomorrow. So still a 2 week wait before it will arrive probably.
Still not sure about the groupset i will be choosing.

How do you guys find the stiffness of this frame? Flex in the BB?

Just small imperfections around, nothing major. Not a deal breaker for me on a gravel frame.

Build my frame up yesterday, and took it for a quick spinn today. Don't have to much to say about the performance of the frame as of yet, as the headset was a bit loose, so need to fix that before I go all out.

Looks good! will it stay full white?
I ordered one earlier this week, I hope it will get here quick as I have someone waiting on it...
Will do a custom professional paintjob - nothing fancy.
This one will get a flatbar and suspension fork. the fork will raise the front raised by 30mm. Not ideal but that's what it is going to be.
I wanted to go with the G020 but the G068 geometry is better suited in this case for the flatbar setup and sizing up by one size.
