Action cam for bikes
« on: September 26, 2024, 11:24:56 PM »
Recently been through an accident in a race and don't remember it.... so I was thinking of potentially putting a camera on my bike. Was wondering what people are using without breaking the bank like a GoPro or Insta360.

In my experience, the ones on Ali/amazon are not great. I wouldn't mind a reduction in video quality if the stabilisation was good but that is what sets apart the expensive cameras. If you just want footage and thats it, then try one but in my opinon they're not great and especially when mounted to the bars vibrate like mad even on road. I use an insta360 because its good good stabilisation and the fact you can look around the footage when done is great. Pricey little thing though.

Yes was wondering if anyone had experience with all those cameras listed with electronic stabilization. Or else I would say Insta360 is the best if money was not a concern.

I think it depends of the use. Video you want to publish or just review specific event.
