I was planning on putting the Tagoola All-Road wheelset on my gravel bike, but opted to try running 30c tires with the wider 24.2mm internal width on my R088 road bike. The wheels came with a tension chart for each wheel, a free pedal keychain, but sadly no spare spokes. I ordered my wheels with XD, but since I opted to use them on my road bike, I swapped out the XD for an HG freehub I had laying around. Wheels came pre-taped, plus they came with air valves installed. Mounting the tires were fairly easy and I was able to bead both tires with just a floor pump. Anyways, probably the last purchase I'm making from AliExpress.  ;D

No extra spokes in mine either. But tension chart is there, signed by the mech and are taped with valve installed. What freehub did you put on? Does it take standard DT Swiss hub? I saw the star ratchets inside .

Yes, mine came with a DT Swiss style hub with a 36t ratchet. I just put on a spare Goldix HG freehub from my parts bin. Seems to work fine. I also have a 54t ratchet kit I picked up, but I haven't decided which wheelset will get the conversion.

I think clincher simply means you have to put rim tape on the rim bed whereas for tubeless you don't have to use rim tape? I do agree they don't make it clear that its hookless (it is mentioned somewhere in an image as a sidenote). That is an important factor and should be clear in the title.

No! Clicher means that there is a hook in the rim bed that holds (clinches) the tire so it doesn't slip over the rim wall. I have clincher rims without need to put tape because they have no nipple holes.
For tubeless rims with nipple holes you must put the tape.

Not that straightforward and depends on the brand. Some Chinese brands when they mention tubeless, it is a rim without nipple holes and thus don't need a tape so you are ready for tubeless tires right away. Whereas clincher rim needs rim tape. Clincher is term used mostly for the tires and not rims but when they mention it for wheels, it's usually rims with nipple holes. It's unfortunate the terms are all mixed up causing the confusion.
The rims with hooks in them to lock the bead of the tire are hooked rims and those without hook are, well, hook less. The issue in this particular brand is they don't clearly mention if it's hooked or hook less.

Lol did you just suggest for PLA to kill himself? It's a forum about chinese bikes, surely we dont need to tell each other to die, right, however much we disagree with each other?

Fast on the flat. And nowhere else.

Our brand of rims all have nut holes, in order to take care of the experience of most customers. Subsequent wheel sets sold by our brand will be pre-installed with vacuum tape and valves free of charge. It does not matter whether you use open tires or tubeless tires. Today we have optimized the options and instructions of OPTINAX products, and added ceramic bearings and MS freehub options;

I've just received the wheels I ordered on May 26.

It was shipped on April 2nd to the EU so all-in-all standard times. They took a bit longer to ship because they had to be built. It was properly communicated so all good.

They have the standard rim, and weight with caps, valve and tape is 1490g which should bring it down to the announced 1465g without tape, valve and caps.

The hub sound is OK. Not too loud (thank god) especially compared to the elite wheels elite one I have on mine - which I hate).

It came with some nice gifts, though as mentioned I it would be nice to inclide 2 extra spokes too.

For 319€, delivered home, without custom duties. Seems fairly unbeatable.

They will be used to build the super budget bike for a client. A full carbon bike, hydraulic 11s, integrated cable for under 999€. All with new parts.

Full build will take a while, but will do a 6months review to keep you guys updated when the client comes for maintenance -after summer.

So far, Matter and his company have mu highly recommend stamp and will become my wheel supplier if all goes well.

I purchased the DAO 40 gravel wheels. I guess they're called Aeroraptor now? No spare spokes either, but also came taped with valves installed. I had bought some purple valves to match my frame, but wondering if its worth the hassle at this point to swith them out.
After massive store and sale coupons it came out to $373.54 WITH expedited shipping. Smoking deal I couldn't pass up.
(thanks to those guys that posts coupons in the other thread)

My only concerns are the no name alloy nipples and the decals that look like they can come off pretty easily.

Waiting on a bb and cassette to come in to build up my BXT 135. Will post pics here and in my build thread when complete.
