FR-202 Race Rig

I've only seen a couple of FR-202 builds on here, so I thought I'd share mine. I ordered directly from Flyxii and received it in less than two weeks, no import duties. I have less than 200 miles on it so far, but it seems like a solid bike. I even won a 6 hour race on it yesterday  Current weight 22.5 lbs - I'm happy with that given my budget. Some parts were new, others were taken from my previous bike. The only issues I had were some overspray in the head tube and the Flyxii name is printed upside-down on the seatpost collar. I might cover it up someday, but for now I think it's hilarious. I'm looking hard at the FR-322 road frame now.

This bike is SO close to mine!! I'll need to post a picture, you'll be amazed. Same frame (3K glossy), ZTR Crest rims, XT cranks, white fork (RS Reba).
Still, a lot of differences, Reverb seat-post, Avid brakes, 2x9 X9/X0 group (except cranks).

My bike is 18 month old now, also just done an 8 hours race. I was passing many people going up... but 3x more people passing me downhill everyone's moving to Full now, which really makes a difference downhill.

So what is the rear tire clearance like on these 202's? Looking to run 2.75x2.8 tires. I believe 70mm is the minimum or close to it.

@SportingGoods - post up! I'd be interested to see it. Not sure where you are, but there's not too many technical downhills here in Mississippi, haha. My philosophy has always been that you spend a lot more time going uphill. Still, I would like a dually someday.

@bxcc - I measured right at 70mm between the chainstays. I wouldn't go bigger than 2.4

OK, I need to make some good quality pictures (and find a way to post them here!).

For the tire clearance, I run 2.25 and that's the max that my front derailleur will allow. If you go with a single chainring, then I agree that 2.4 is probably the max.

Thanks for the measurements. The 2.8 should fit then. The 27.5 x 2.8 is more about height and volume than just width.

Here we go, you can't see too much the bike, I know I was really posing here (that was within the first hour of the race )
I have set the fork at 110 mm (you can't tell here as it is compressed a lot) and the Reverb seatpost is down.
I'll need to take some picture myself, so that you can get a better view on the bike.

blee_2009, we won't ride together, I am in France. I visit regularly Missouri (not too far) but I don't fly my bike.
