In other news, we have been doing bits and pieces whilst waiting for the frame:
Most parts have now arrived, just need grips and pedals - and then any incidentals that may pop up during the build.
Set the wheels up tubeless - got some Vittoria Barzo tires on sale. 2.25 up front, and 2.1 on the back.
Not 100% sold on the disks - we will have to see how they perform.
And had to do a test fit of the tire and wheel on the fork... can you tell we can't wait for the frame to arrive?

« Last post by Takiyaki on May 26, 2024, 05:01:20 PM »066 is the most comfortable, 168 is the heaviest. Patlien really liked the 177 but it has the most aggressive geometry. I'd personally go for the 066; I almost did but went in another direction.

Maybe this YT video on channel BBInfinite 2 years ago (Adjust a Headset Like a Boss) will help you compress your headset in the best way. I myself was amazed at the compression with plastic spacers

I'm considering the VB-R-168, VB-R-177, and VB-R-066 bike frames and ride about 15,000 km per year. I'd love some advice on these models.
How do they compare in terms of rigidity, comfort, and weight? Have you experienced any defects or issues with these frames? How easy were they to assemble?
Which frame would you recommend for durability and longevity?
I'd also appreciate any customer feedback or reviews from those who have used these frames.
