This is different. they are saying that the only way to buy their products is via their website.
what you are saying is what LTWOO is doing for eg, which is, in case of warranty issues, you contact your reseller, and the reseller liaises with LTWOO. I know that 1st hand, given i'm now on my 3rd dead ER9 RD, and every time i go through the reseller, which is torture.

Well, if oyu think going directly is a blast..no way....

The sellers just do not care....

What they are stating is fair. As far as in Europe (and maybe in other countries as well), it's the store who needs to provide warranty cases with the consumer and not the company of the product. So if you claim warranty, you need to contact your seller rather than directly Wheeltop.
well, it is the cheapest way for them to sell..they do not have to cope with any european law!
If a dealership would decided to sell the product would immediately trigger alot of costs for this company, to fulfil the law.
Ce certification, no fake one
ANT+ license has to be paid
The brand has to be registred in europe in several systems, if not it is illegal to sell and the distributor/dealer will be held responsible.
The ce certification is pretty tricky with having involved wireless, batteries charging etc..
all these products must be tested..
We have been trying to persuade ltwoo, but they do not care and sell via aliexpress.
so with all these costs involved we end up having loads of costs to cope with laws....all this with seller on Alixepress selling cheaper than we bought our er9s directly...

so the rather sell without any problems via china.....

I've built quite a few. They are easy to build, nothing special. And ride well.
Since you are looking for better. What would you change on this frame if you could ?

Exactly!  Although the shape and geometry stayed rather unchanged, the usage was shifted to more allroad  than bikepacking. As its less strong e.g  it's not having all the mounts.
That's not bad in general , but if anybody wants that for bikepacking, the SL is maybe not the best choice.

Or you can take the new frame with the old fork

I've built a few gravel bikes with the Transmission system with the CFR-505 from Carbonda.
All the riders are extremely happy!
I'm a bit jealous now, still riding the old Eagle AXS on my gravel  ::)

The chainline of the SRAM gravel/road crankset (wide) is 47.5mm, which may cause chain rub on a couple of small sprockets if your chainstay length is on the short side (420-430mm).

I contacted SRAM to see if I could safely widen the chainline a bit. A colleague of the person who responded to me had the same issue with a mullet setup. I mentioned that the chain rub would cause some noise and lateral chain wear, but they said he was managing it fine...

I escalated the issue and eventually got someone who, after some back and forth, confirmed that SRAM has 47.5mm max only.
If I remember well, they didn't say it directly, but implied that it would be okay to use a wider chainline if found, as MTB setups allow for much more.
I added a 1mm shim on the right side, which solved the rub issue.

In addition, the app from SRAM to know the chain length, and the position of A/B setup key is not reliable.
It stops at around 38T, so add one link per additional teeth.
And it puts the setup key to A while it should generally tell B. Test both options and see which one works better.

Now, I'm about to build another one, and this time I'll try with XX1-Quarq/104BCD crankset with a 49mm chainline

Which frame would you recommend for durability and longevity?
Honestly? None. They are all carbon frames. If you seek durability and longevity, you want to ride 15k a year for many years and I guess you preffer lower weight (as you look at carbon frames), go titanium.

Have a nice day! The warranty of our RD13 ratchet system hub is one year. There is a waterproof gasket inside the hub, so there is no problem in wet environments. As for the grease issue, all hubs require normal maintenance after being used for a period of time. I hope there will be other friends who purchase our ultra-light carbon wheelsets to complement the riding experience.

Hello

I am looking to build an endurance gravel bike with 1x/transmission. I am eying the GR048 frame. They currently only offer the M size with UDH, but with 179/83 that should fit okay.

1. Geo seems nice slack ST/HT with 74/71. Anything i am missing on fit for a touring gravel?

Did anyone notice Wheeltop is now advertising 3-14 speed cassette compatibility? I didn't even know 14 speed cassettes existed? Lol

066 is the most comfortable, 168 is the heaviest. Patlien really liked the 177 but it has the most aggressive geometry. I'd personally go for the 066; I almost did but went in another direction.


What direction did you take?  :D
