Hi Jonny, yes they were in weight as I changed the spec to 28H rear from 24h.... Front wheel weighed 650g and rear 770g with the XD drive. The wheels were true and setup tubeless easy with OrangeSeal rim tape. I've been riding them for a couple of months now with no problems. I use mine for XC rides only on my 062 here in Kent UK so no big rocky descents to smash down.

Thanks Rick64, glad to hear your good news, yes i spoke to Tommy. Very helpfull... they have not shipped in 10 days now... but i a getting black decals for free, so i will patiently await shipping. Bought via Alix with p/protection and no paypal fees!

Order some extra spokes for front and rear wheel, I only had one spare arrive with the wheels so had to order more separately.

My mistake... SpeedSafe not CarbonSpeed. For the price i took the chance. Will see if they last.

Ive had no problems with my SpeedSafe carbon asymmetric 29er wheels 28 spoke rear 24 front and :D power way straight pull hubs  :D Did you deal with Tommy, I had the invoice made out as warranty replacement so didn't pay any import duty in UK  ;D

@Rick, do tell how it rides compared to your previous fork (a Reba?). Too bad they don't offer a 120mm anymore, I'd really like something as tunable and light as SID to drop some weight from my heavy-ish Marvel Pro in order to achieve a sub-9kg build.

First ride tonight and super impressed with the SID, when locked out the fork is absolutely rock solid, the trails were pretty sloppy on top but when we rode the dry sections the SID totally out performed the Reba, I had it set up light with a fast rebound for small bump compliance and just smashed through the rough and rooty sections.

New SID installed, didn't like the white decals but the stealth decals were in the box so did a quick change. First ride out on them tomorrow running one token and 68psi  ;D 8)

That's because generic chinese carbon is bad and unreliable. That is probably a generic carbon frame and not a real Cannondale.  :o

(Disclaimer - the previous comment is dripping with sarcasm)
