BTW what tire set up is everyone using?

Vittoria Corsa all the way. Except for my tubular wheels. I’m using Tufo tubs in 28mm. They can be used with sealant and plugged like tubeless tires. So they’re very convenient. And despite Tufo having a bad rep for slow and harsh tires, I found that that’s a myth of the past when people were riding 21mm tubs at 140psi (if it ever was true). If you use them at sensible pressures they’re actually quite supple and not really any slower than my Cotton Corsas. Plus Tufo’s gravel tubeless tires are hands down the best I’ve ever used. In a sensible price range at least.

Aliexpress is still full of Dogma F and Grevil clones, though. It seems there’s a particularly high quantity of Pinarello clones from many different sources. I often wonder why? Is it just desirability and that they’re selling well? Or does Pinarello maybe not pay the necessary license fees for exclusivity or chooses to have that license expire at some point and the factory sells off the molds to third parties? Because it seems that everyone and their mother in China has a mold lying around for the Dogma F12 and the Dogma F.  ???

I'm planning on building a new gravel bike and am searching for a nice integrated dropbar in 38cm width.

Has anyone got experience with this Syncros Gravelbar? Is it legit?

Otherwise I was looking at this handlebar from Spcycle.

I think either will be fine. I do like the SPCycle bar though. I've had all sorts of AliEx carbon bars and all of them have held up to robust riding.

If you don't mind adding a bit of weight when you swap wheels around, you can use this style of adapter.   I have purchased several of these over the years in order to be able to put a 12X100 front or rear 12 x 142 wheel on an older bike with dropouts. (Assuming your frame is 142 in the back.)

Frames I've seen around these forums:
Velobuild R265
Yishun R1058/Light carbon Light carbon LCR017-D
R1058
Yishun R086D

I can comment on the Yishunbike R1058D which I've build up over the winter. Meanwhile I did 2k on the bike and it performes really really nice. As I am not the lightest one with 95kg even in my sprint sessions with ~1400Watts the bike appears stable and without massive flex in all relevant areas.

So, in case you think about buying from Yishun, I had not at all issues regarding QC weither with the frameset nor with their wheelset. ;)

When I switched to riding gravel bikes 5+ years ago, I came to appreciate drop bars with the drops flared outwards.  Flared bars are so much more comfortable on the drops.  One learns to appreciate being able to drop down onto the flared bars and maintain better steering control on rough gravel descents, versus road bars, due to the wider grip and wrist angles.

OG-EVKIN 025 & Velobuild 066 are both Canyon Endurace clones, though I don't know how high their sizes go.

There are a lot of frames in that price range so you have to figure out what you want out of a frame to help narrow things down. Why do you want to move on from the Triban? What do you like about it that you want to keep in the next bike?

Plus bear in mind with DTC frames a lot of it is a crap shoot. Yea you can read reviews and the like but you don't really know how the bike will ride until you build it. But you can steer things one way or another with different choices. Aero? Climber? Endurance? Light gravel? All-arounder? What kind of geometry are you looking for? I think once you get those basic questions answered you will have a direction that makes recommendations easier and more useful.

I can’t be arsed to troll eBay for another deal, and then fork over another $100 for a DA caliper that may or may not work.

i used to live in london and use ebay a lot. you can easily set a very specific search, and create an email alert when something matches your criteria. was working very well.
And i was using a bid sniper as well, bidding automatically at the last moment.
Made using ebay super convenient, as long as you're not in a hurry.
I bought a campag bora one front wheel for 100 pounds, back in the day. new.
