Do you mind me asking where you bought it from and what the frame price was?@Jeff, nooone reported other vendors besides Dengfu selling the frame yet. Mine was 660USD, plus 150USD shipping, plus 35USD PayPal fees.
I already took off the paint from the first half.Jar_head, do you plan to strip the section that's gripped by stem faceplate? I was thinking about stripping my dropbar in order to achieve a stealthier look and this section stands out the most (it's white, duh).
Stem is a Syntace F109 90mm, 21" frame and im 187 cm tall. I prefer a long reach so I can get into a nice aero position for long distances races which typically (sadly) has alot of gravel roads.Wow, maybe I should at least try a lower/longer option given that I'm just 2cm lower than you, but then again everyone has different body proportions. My current setup is 19" frame and 6cm stem which feels endo-resistant, at least I did not roll over yet Next spring I'll see if 9cm stem rides better.
So an update on the frame/bikeYou seem to run a somewhat long stem. What's the stem length, frame size and your height? I'd like to compare other people setups with my own.
Just a couple of times, but who wants to rub a frame? Looks like i'm going back to 2.1.Correct me if I'm wrong, but a couple of layers of protection tape should be enough against occasional rub, unless there's a sharp rock stuck between threads, which shouldn't happen often considering how rarely spaced knobs are on XC/marathon tires.
Man, that thing is about 200g lighter than my M06. Now I want RF Next SL even more.
Thank you for your inquiry.
Your M06 frame is quite different than our MAG, they looks similar because is an open mold project, but we use our patented LUNAR HM Carbon fiber. In this way the MAG is much lighter and stiffer. The total weight of the MAG SL1 is 8.9kg.
I have a S8 at home just now. Will you post frame weights? I'd also really like more info about the rocker arm, in case you are willing to disassemble the frame.
I had just got it under 12lb the week before it got stolen.Surely you meant 22lb. Wish I'd get my road bike to 12lbs some day, lol.
