I contacted customer service and they said they only had 52cm available.
The last set... what a shame :'(

I'm considering a budget of $700 USD for the frame alone. Are there any options in this price range other than Velobuild? I've also seen the Hyggee frames selling for a bit less than that, but I believe the Velobuild quality control might be better.

I plan to repurpose my Mavic Krysium wheelset that I've used on the Triban until I save up for a carbon wheelset. As for the groupset, I'm thinking of going with the Wheeltop EDS-TX.

I haven't budgeted our the rest of the build or components, as I wanted to start from a frame and go from there.

Looking at this frame in a 58cm and would build it up with a sram groupset. For a 1x, would a 46t chainring fit ? Sram does have their dub road wide crankset but don't know if that will be necessary.

UPDATE:
Ordered a 58 in celeste colorway
Asked some questions, got some answers from person named Perry:
-asked for fork with no holes, was no problem
-Max 1x chainring is 42t
-BB is the t47 85.5
-for 1x is there a fully closed cover for front derrailleur cable hole -> no

I have so cycle g056 with 42t max chainring but I run 44t with zero problem and I am more then sure 46 will fit without any problem. Just order 46t wide and try it. If to tight just use some spacers.

Hi everyone,
My +190cm son has a 2017 Giant Advanced Pro 2, and has cracked the top tube - almost certainly not repairable.  The XL Defy geometry is:
  • Reach - 402
  • Stack - 615
He's a good builder (doing an Engineering degree) and should be a fun project.

We've found so far:

SP Cycle T1000 - R401 S633
Tan Tan TTX34 - R405 S604
Yishun R096-D - R407 S601

Any other recommendations for an endurance disk frame?

Thank you!

I've got a frame that has IS mount points on it.

It uses 6M screws between the IS adapter and the frame. It had avid calipers on it that 6M mounting points to go into the adapter.

The brake and the caliper side of the adapter seem to be 73mm spacing.

I have an L-Twoo hydro set that I wanted to put on this bike - the issue?

The L-twoo calipers *seem* to be 70mm? Also they use 5M screws.

I can't, for the fucking life of me, I can't figure out what to do. I've tried Shimano IS to Post adapters, same situation - 6M and the spacing is a little weird?

Does anyone know what I'm missing here?

When I initially inquired LC about this frame, their response started with the following:

"LCR017-D is our latest bike frame and our frame designers also take the advantages of Cannondale SuperSix EVO."

If you're advertising your flagship road frame in this manner, how the heck did their engineers forget to include a proper Di2 port? Especially when my Yishun frame from their sister company included one. That is quite the oversight.

Product could've been so much better with three dollars of oversight and quality control.  Guess the consumer is the unpaid test pilot

For the Wing 20s, what spoke category are you guys using with your tensiometer? My deflection table has an entry for 'Steel Blade Spoke 1.2x1.9mm', which seems reasonably close. What gives me pause though is that, as far as I understand it, the Wings have a more diamond-shaped profile compared to traditional bladed spokes. (I don't have any hands-on experience with the Wings but should be getting some for my wheel build within the next few days.)

These tables with values for spokes are just a collection of numbers.
If you want to know how the deflection turns into spoke tension you must calibrate your tensiometer tool for every spoke type you use. If you only true finished wheels it doesn't really matter, but if you build them from scratch you must know the absolute numbers and these sheets with some generic spokes are not the best guide.

Yes. They're only selling off leftover stock. No explanation as to why.

What have I missed? Have VB stopped selling these frames?

Feels like I have some reading to do :)

She said that she give this information to their engineer. So maybe if they think it necessary, they'll make some changes here too.
