Just a quick update on my EDS TX Road rim brake group.

Have logged a decent amount of training miles and did two 60-70mi group rides with some climbing.

Overall, the experience has been good.  Three issues have been bothering me:

1) In certain gears (7 and 4) when shifting down I get some “clicking” like its not fully seated. This is after I used the “fine tuning adjustment” in the work stand.  However, for the troublesome sprockets, if I shift down one gear and then back up to the one that makes noise, it goes away.  Just an annoyance.

2) On occasion, it will overshift, almost aways on the downshift. Again this is in the middle gears.  It only happens once in awhile.  A simple upshift drops it in the correct gear.

3) “Racing Mode” has never worked for me.  I’ve attempted multiple times to enable racing mode but it just skips 2-3 gears with every press of the shifter. So, I’ve only used it in Casual Mode.

Today, I decided to do some more fine tuning with the app.  Wheeltop pushed an update for the app and firmware updates for all the group components.  I ended up starting over with the initial calibration and went one by one readjusting each cog.  I was able to eliminate issues 1 and 3. All the gears shift up and down without issue.  Racing mode now works.  Time will tell if issue 2 continues or not.  I’ll be putting quite a bit of training miles on it tomorrow.

Hopefully the firmware upgrades made a difference.

Received my frame and wheels today :) paint job looks stunning but as others mentioned I doubt it’s even clear coated at all and I’m seriously concidering applying one before I build up the bike. And the frame had a random additional painted stripe I had not requested, but it looks nice so probably some finishing touch of the painter  ;D
.

That's odd that you got an extra stripe but I doubt it was something that the painter just added.

I've had mine for over a year now, and very pleased with it.  No issues and just works, paired to my Bryton.
Didn't even realized there were firmware upgrades till I read this thread!

how long does it last and has the battery degraded over a year?

Did anyone build the bike with 2by mechanical shifting? I'm struggling with routing the cables through the headset. The problem is that the exit port for front brake is on the right side of the steering tube for some reason so I end up with 3 cables on one side and 1 cable on the other side of the steering tube wich results in steering pulling to the right when assembled.

oh no.
Currently im happy with my tt912, though its kinda heavy.
Really looking fwd to someone who gonna build it, n get the estimate weight.

Once Ltwoo/wheeltop comes out with satelite shifter for Tri (i also do consider sram apex xplr axs 12speed 1x +blips n mash with shimano HG setup, but market still expensive for these), i might build another Tri bike (n size down to drop weight)  ;D
so you do not intend to finish the race :-)

Its your choice and it depends how desperate you want to finish, but i would never ever think about putting ltwoo on my competition bike? Not for the next 3 years..

Are you testing several EDS TX groupsets to become EU/DE distributor?
Nope , not worth the effort

I received my first Wheeltop "Pre-order"  E-mail yesterday.   The prices are listed in Euros.  At the bottom of the email is a USA address: (No phone number)

Wheeltop
820 N River St. Portland, Oregon
97227
United States.

Looks like Wheeltop has a USA presence

Interesting choice to setup shop in Portland. They'll definitely be testing their groupset water proofing there (rains a lot). Great city for cycling and especially gravel!

nice build

on my tt912, i also suffer the bottle boss so far low, that it just fits the provided Elite aero bottle.
im not sure if TT913  fixed this issue.
On my tt912, i think i used similar stem type as yours (stem n basebar are split components). I smeared lotsa carbon paste, seemed to work. but for my case the 2 bolt got loose after a while. gotta threadlock blue that
