Road Bike Frames, Wheels & Components / BXT Pro 145 Anyone?
« Last post by Milo on Today at 03:10:21 AM »
Hi,
Anyone own a BXT Pro 145?

Maybe it has to do with the batches in which the frames were made. Maybe the first set of batches didn't have it and the most recent ones have it. It's the only logic I can find (supposing it's not frame size)

How to route the di2 cable if there is no hole under the front derailleur? Through the hole for mechanical behind?
Sorry to have raised this problem which certainly does not have one. For my part, I don't have a hole under the FD. So I went through the space provided at the bottom of the seat tube. I have a Shimano Di2. A part is provided for Shimano or Sram. On the other hand, so that the electrical wire could pass through this plastic part, I had to slightly enlarge the hole in this plastic part screwed to the frame. A little electrical tape on the electrical wire closes the small space to prevent the passage of water. Very simple overall

Would you guys say this is a worthy PEEccola clone?

sorry, I'll piss off now  :D
Yup so far so good. Just over 1k miles of hard training and UCI level racing. Keep in mind I had these set up with 2 piston calipers and without pads the set weighs 324g which is seriously light. Pads weigh 20g for front and rear. Only complaint is that you can't lock the cable in place.

Replace aluminum rocker arm. Size L, matt black frame, weight 1749g.
Too heavy, how much does it weight with the carbon rocker link and no paint?

That's what I did.  Plus you'll need to secure the DI2 wire so it does rub on the wheel.

I think it is a little strange, that some frames have this hole an the most doesn't. For electrical group set you'll normally need it.
Not the end of the world but still strange, because the say the frame is for mechanical and electrical shifting.

They should do the hole always and provide a rubber grommet zu Close it in case of mechanical shifter.

What did you use to secure the wire?

Prepped last night for a longer ride today.  Bike shifted fine. App stated 90% battery for both batteries.   Today, started my ride and the front derailleur wouldn't shift, Rode the about 60 miles in the small chainring.    When I got home, I removed the CR2032 button battery.  Voltage measured .87 volts.  Installed a new battery and all is well.  I recommend replacing the "Lynkcell" brand CR2032 battery with high quality Batteries.   Who would think that with only 500 miles on the EDSTX kit, the button battery would be bad.

Component Deals & Selection / Re: Magene L508 Radar bike light

Just received my light, I unfortunately cannot connect to it with the Magene Utility app, how do I update the firmware then?

Anybody else with this issue?

"This device is not compatible with the current app. Please use the corresponding app."

My app version is v1.7.1
That is the current version of the app, looks exactly the same but it connects to my L508 without that message.

I would contact Magene support.

There was rumour of two different versions of the L508, one built just for the Chinese market and the other for the International market. If you bought your L508 from AliExpress you might of got the Chinese version.

I did buy my from the "offical" Magene store on AliExpress, but that was 18 months ago.
