What they are stating is fair. As far as in Europe (and maybe in other countries as well), it's the store who needs to provide warranty cases with the consumer and not the company of the product. So if you claim warranty, you need to contact your seller rather than directly Wheeltop.
But since they state they do not sell to third party seller there is the real chance there will be no warranty. Certainly not by wheeltop, not even through the sellers.

Tracking, naah, not until the last 36hrs of the delivery. Tracking page said parcel was registered but not yet recieved, then the last stages in Europe it was all good. The parcel took 20 days to get to Stockholm / me after registration with the carrier (DHL).

I know this post is a little bit older.
Can you tell me if 20 days was the complete delivery time from China or only after arriving in Europe?

My ER9 is still going strong. When it works, it's f**king great! Though I'm not ignoring the problems. Hence why I don't ride my ER9 bike in the rain & don't wash it with a hose, I rotate my bikes to minimize wear-n-tear and I don't do things like shifting both the left/right shifters at the same time.

Also I'm theorizing that some aftermarket batteries might be an issue as well. That's the one variable that differs between all the working/non-working units. This is probably why Shimano uses their own proprietary unit and SRAM insist on only using their OEM batteries. I could imagine a sh**ty battery could potentially toast the ER9/X RD electronics.

Even with all the issues and the non-existent LTwoo support, I'd probably buy another ER9 groupset when it's on sale. The performance-price-risk factor is still worth it for me.
where are you located?

Being short, the BMC Roadmachine 01 is one of the few bikes I have owned that fits me. Well, apparently until the new Tavelo Arow. the geo looks almost identical. Getting my greedy hands on this one ASAP. My BMC has over 100k on it since 2018. Time for a +1 methinks.
