Being short, the BMC Roadmachine 01 is one of the few bikes I have owned that fits me. Well, apparently until the new Tavelo Arow. the geo looks almost identical. Getting my greedy hands on this one ASAP. My BMC has over 100k on it since 2018. Time for a +1 methinks.

I think it is 90mm rear travel with 190x45mm shock.

FM121 Frame Travel:120mm

Yikes! Mental note, don’t use pedal extenders!  :-[

Steel pedal expanders. Mine are from Risk I've seen them branded differently
Strongly recommend if you don't like having clean threads or skin on your knuckles. I thought the threads would still be fine but no, it took me an hour to remove them despite all the grease I used. Metal is very soft and bends when uninstalling, threads are toast after 1000km.
Thankfully the threads on my PM crankset are still okay. My look pedals were ruined so I'm gonna try the ultralight zeray pedals as a replacement. Hope I don't give an update from the hospital

Had a similarly shitty experience with ZTTO pedal extenders

They snapped on an MTB ride...luckily riight at the end of a hectic descent. Never again

Can you please give me the contact of Peter
Hello there. This is Peter from Xiamen Carbon Speed. What depth rim do you prefer?

If I’m not mistaken 1200 is the original 505. This is the 2023 CFR505 SL (Super Light).

Exactly!  Although the shape and geometry stayed rather unchanged, the usage was shifted to more allroad  than bikepacking. As its less strong e.g  it's not having all the mounts.
That's not bad in general , but if anybody wants that for bikepacking, the SL is maybe not the best choice.

Look into gravel wheels. I just got a set of Elitewheels that are 35x31. There are some MTB wheels that are even wider but they are not very aero (and often have a very high spoke count)

I just ordered the EDGE 35 gravel wheels. They came in at about 1370g and measure 31mm wide. Build completion is months away but they look pretty good. Kind of regretting not getting the 45s but we'll see.

Just received the Edge 45 Gravel here, 1420g w/o rim tape. Plenty of tape for both wheels was included.

980? Dont Carbonda claim a 1200 weight? That is a big weight improvement.

Speed carbon has such rims (Peter from speed carbon on the forum)
Yuanan as well (OEM for Elite, also on the forum)
Farsports for sure
Basically you want rims that are at least 31-32-33-34mm wide.
