For your issue #2,  double check your "B" screw setting.  At one point in my tuning, I had an extra link in my chain and in order to make it shift smoothly I had to adjust the "B" screw in to pull the derailleur farther back.  For some reason, I had the same issue as you.  I removed another link, and was able to unscrew the "B" screw some more, re-adjusted my trims, and the over-shifting went away.

Maintenance, Mechanics, & Tools / Re: Disconnecting hydraulic hoses

On fully internal frames, is this not an option for travel? Do you have to detach the hoses for travel? Sounds like a big hassle if that's the case.

Traveled abroad at the start of May. Plan was to bring VB GF002 with me. Got Trek box for XL sized Madone and started dismantling the bike. I was thinking that the frame, fork, handlebar all tied together because of internal hoses will somehow fit in the box. After numerous permutations and combinations and 3 hours later I decided to call it quits. In the end I brought along rim brake SSE. The handlebar was kept in the rear triangle. Everything beautifully wrapped in foam. The GF002 is still lying in my home completely disassembled. Only a dedicated hard case will fit the carcass of full ICR bike without disconnecting hoses etc. Major pain.

Here after a long break. Eyeing the rim brake EDS TX for my CAAD or SSE. I'm seeing $545~ before coupon, is that a good price?

Sounds like the going rate. I would just double check the other sellers if they have any coin deals or any additional discounts to lower the price before applying the coupon.

Cyclocross Frames, Wheels & Components / Re: GR048 with Tansmission?

So I bought the GR048 frame in Large with the UDH from the Seraph Ali store. So far the contact has been very nice.

On the components I will stick with a black theme. So think that narrows it down to X0 and Rival. Wont be the most cost efficient nor lightest build, but i hope it looks cool when its done.

I will update this thread as things are moving along.

Today, I finally checked the headset. I could indeed hear some grinding noise and so I adjusted the headset.
I did some test rides: When breaking abruptly and hard, the break reacts well and there is no stuttering.
But when breaking with a bit more feeling and less power, the stuttering is still there (see attached) :(
I adjusted the break once more but it didn't make any difference.

Any other suggestions?

@PLA: Could you please explain why to change the wheel?

What is the brand of your aerobar ?
It´s Controltech Falcon but with Zipp Vuka 110 pipes.
https://www.controltechbikes.com/products/item/417.html

It has to be ordered directly from them for the F12 stem, regular version has a different size.

Finally, I received the pictures from Carol at LC. The paint job looks amazing, and I was promised that they will ship the frame tomorrow. The entire process experienced significant delays compared to the promised lead times, but I hope the wait will be worth it. I will post the final mounted pictures with custom decals (which are yet to be designed).

This looks very nice!
Which color did you use for the 'red' parts of the frame?
