The thread may be that old, but my experience is fresher than that  ;)   I've had it out for another ride now. So far so good. I think I'm hearing slight noise sometimes on some gears like it may not be aligned correctly. So I might to go micro adjust better or I might go back to zero and do it per instructions (I micro adjusted first like an idiot). But functionally it's good. It's hard to directly compare the 'feel' to my AXS bike because that one is a 2x with a road cassette so each click is a smaller, smoother change. On the giant 1x cassette, some steps are a bit rougher by their nature. But I think it's pretty comparable. And definitely more responsive and reliable shifts than the modified, cable-actuated Force 1 on there before. I have no hesitation clicking up or down one to 'feel' right where there was enough faffing before I often just didn't.

Were you able to fit those tires in the frame?

Ok, I said I'd be back with some info once I got it built. It's preliminary as I only have one ride on it so far, but you can read it here

Hi Thanks for this info, it's very helpful! it's been a couple of months now, hows it all going? have you had any other issues?

In order to run the cable housing all the way though you need to remove the bottom cover under the bottom bracket and make the holes slightly larger for the housing to fit through. Also need to Remove the metal fitting on the chain stay so the cable housing can come out, nothing else besides that. The metal fitting is removal, for those that run electronic you replace it with an included rubber grommet. It worked fine. I did end up going with an Egr groupset shortly after. No issue with the mechanical groupset. Just couldn’t pass up Egr @ $360

Hi Trackar

Thanks for sharing this. How do you find the EGR? I'm keen to know if the problems of the Waterproofing and the RD swing stop has been resolved? The one that Luke from Trace Velo was having.

Got a set of these Spexcel winter bibs recently, highly recommend them. They fit really nice, good for shoulder seasons with a nice fleece lining.

I also ordered the newer bib designs hoping for a longer leg length than my other spexcel bibs. These new ones are much better in that regard, good option to consider. They seem to fit much smaller than the other bibs from them I have though, I'm not sure if the cut is smaller or the fabric is less elastic.

You could use different calipers - as long as it’s shimano road compatible (i.e. mineral oil), it should be ltwoo compatible. Quite a few sellers on aliexpress bundle the ltwoo shifters with zrace xg calipers which use a regular flat mount interface and are much lighter.

decals? Aren't decals simply stickers that typically have a logo on them? How would they change the complete bike color?

There are very nice ones. Especially with patterns to avoid a simple colour and which are more than just stickers. They are decals where only letters or design sticks to the frame. I'm looking for places to get them but couldn't find anything with geometric layout or artistic without being too colourful. But was able to find some with flowers ahaha
