Re: OG Evkin BAIZE CF-056 (in 2x gravel form) Lexon reverse? Even Shorter reach, higher stack, more vertical steerer tube.

I have had mine for about 2 years and it is a really nice frame. I currently use it with the zniino surly corner knock off h-bar, but I am really tempted to build a gravel out of it.

Re: SLACK Gravel Frame
Does anyone know who the maker / original supplier of this fork is?  Variable rake and 700x54.  Must be one of the larger Chinese suppliers to the OEM market.

https://nordestcycles.com/producto/albarda-carbon-horquilla   -- this one.  I'm seeing quite a few brands using it now.

They make a number of different forks. That on has flip chips mounts dynamo routing and clears 55s

Re: LTWOO ER9 & ERX - Electronic groepsets
Probably because they're about to start selling stock of a significantly revised version ...

There will be a new iteration of ERX coming in Q1 2024:

See from around 7:00 in this video. LTWOO will be holding a launch event.

Soul Seeker Frame Hi!
Scrolling through Instagram i stumpled upon this bike. https://www.soulcycles.com.br/seeker?map=ft
Has anyone seen it from a chinese factory? It's a brazilian bike brand and i guess they dont produce their frames themselves.

Thank you for helping:)

Re: Two new Winspace frames coming (soon?)

On the right, 4th from the bottom vs 3rd from the top.

Obviously it'a bit more nuanced but I doubt Winspace have discovered some kind of secret while everyone else is doing kamm-tail and D-shape

You need to look at the cross sections cut parallel to the ground. I am not really seeing much issue with the downtube shaping on the Agile and on the second bike the flat back shaping is a little sharp, but its got a rounded edge. I am not seeing what you are seeing. Not much of a triangle here.

Also downtubes aren't leading edges that hit clean air and don't seem to do much for the aerodynamics of bikes (See Tarmac SL8) and tubes like the ones on the Winspace aren't that different than what Ridley used on the Noah, Kanzo Fast and Falcn. Those bikes, despite their faults test pretty well aerodynamically

Generally not a fan of Winspace mostly because I find their marketing over the top and over emphasizing the uniqueness of features that either aren't unique or benefits that don't seem to make sense, but I don't see anything here that makes these bikes obviously better or worse than other bikes.

Re: Two new Winspace frames coming (soon?) Noticed that the geometry of the Agile is up on geomterygeeks, but is it trustworthy?

New frame: Longteng RD301-D New forum member here, and starting a new thread after posting about this in a thread on the LightCarbon LCR017-D (https://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,4309.255.html).

Long story short: I snuck in to the Taipei Bike Show today to check out some Longteng and LightCarbon frames, and at the Longteng booth, I found out that they have an unreleased frame which is undergoing testing: the RD301-D.  Here is a short video that I took, and a few pages from their brochure with its geometry: https://imgur.com/a/XvH327j.

Appearance wise, the 301 doesn't break any new ground, but a few things stand out:
- It has an aero profile but is under 1000g weight
- The geometry (especially stack) sort of sits between an upright endurance bike and bikes like the Velobuild 177 and 268, Winspace SLC 2.0 and 1500, Yoeleo R11 - this geometry is a sweet spot for me [edit: the geometry seems comparable to the touted all-arounder Trigon AR01]
- Whoa, max tire clearance of 38!
- Cool little storage space on the downtube
- Threaded T47 BB
- Per their rep Alisa, it's made with a mix of T800 and T1000 carbon

This frame hasn't been posted on their website, and Alisa said it will be released "in a few months" once testing is complete.  The 54cm has passed their tests and is available if anyone is interested - you can email Alisa at longtengalisa@163.com.

Peace out!

[Edited to add reference to the Trigon AR01]
