it seems the right one. I see that they speak well, but resist? it seems slim. how are you injured? do you recommend the 135 * 10 QR or 142 * 12?
I choose the 17 ". stop

The frame will come with both 135 QR and 142 drop outs. Just use the one that fits your wheel. I had great communication with them. I have another frame from them as well. Both have been great.

Great!

My daughter in almost 2" shorter, but this a winter project. Since you use the short Wake stem and a seatpost with no setback, there should be som room for the girls to grow!

Exactly! I did have to cut some of the seat post off so it would go low enough into the frame but those are cheap enough (under $15) that I can just get another when the time comes. Keep us posted on the progress!

The one from PinkBike is a Workswell / Sobato frame and it looks like he is being a middle man here in the states to offer faster service. Even the pictures they use in the ad are straight from WW. Not that it's a bad thing, just that it's not a new frame. I've been very pleased with mine.

She is 4'6" and it fits great. It's a bit tall for her due to the 26" wheels, but once she is on and riding, it's near perfect. It took a few rides to adjust to the height but she's rolling comfortably now.

I have purchased one frame from that seller and I am very happy with the service and frame. So if that one works for you, I say go for it.

Like other members, I am extremely happy with the service and products from Peter at, http://xmcarbonspeed.com/, so that is another vendor you could look at. I have ordered 3 sets of rims from him and I will be ordering a frame from Peter soon. Either vendor should be a safe purchase.

We can help with the size but we need to know how tall you are. Inseam and personal preference can also play a part in bike sizing.

Sales & Classifieds / Sram / Truvativ Descendant 165mm GXP 68/73

Selling a new Sram / Truvativ Descendant cranket. The length is 165mm. It's made for GXP bottom brackets with the standard 68mm or 73mm width. This is not the GXP83 version. It should work great for smaller adults or big kids.

One of the tech's at the LBS has a Trek Stache with a Reba 29/27+ on it. It's at 140mm of travel and running the 29x3 Chupacabra on Bontrager Line Plus (39mm inner) wheels.

Hello . I'm looking for a deal on where can i get a pre built fully carbon fiber hard tail mountain bike ?
I'm new to the forum and to bike builds. This represents my first step into carbon fiber bikes. Its been a long time since I rode one. I want to get back into this .  This would be my first fully carbon fiber bike .

Id like to buy a completed bike, and maybe i can upgrade that down the road.  Anyone can help me with where are some places or people i can purchase a brand new build ?

I was looking into a  fully carbon fiber 29er M91 Hardtail i saw from one Chinese website .  I'm 5 feet 10 inches in height if that's relevant .  you can contact me too at facebook:  John Dlcrelce .

Welcome Climb82

Where are you located? I'm sure if you're local to one of the regulars on here, they would be glad to help build one. We might even be persuaded to build one and ship it to you.

I think for ordering a complete bike, your best bet would be to check with Peter at XMCarbonspeed.com. He might be able to provide everything with minimal assembly needed once it arrives.

Just taken delivery...will add photos and start new thread once I'm back from shredding in the Swiss alps! :-)

Awesome! Enjoy Switzerland. Where are you going in Switzerland? I was just there 3 weeks ago.

They are not super common but they can be found. I picked up a straight tubed 26" Rock Shox Revelation a couple of months ago. It's the RCT3 version with 140mm of travel and a 15mm axle. What are you looking for?

After The Ride / Any Swiss members on here?
« on: July 11, 2017, 02:20:48 PM »
I'll be in the Lauterbrunnen Valley next week with the family. Just checking to see if there is anyone on here that may want to play tour guide for a couple of hours if I can sneak away from the wife and kids. Or anyone that may have some suggestions on what to ride. I do have one ride planned already, I just hope it works out. Once I'm in town, I will be checking in with Imboden bike to see what they recommend. I'll post some pictures either way once we are home.

Not a bad idea! I'm not a fan but I do see where they can help. Here are a couple more hardtails to add to the list.

Just a few action shots to confirm the build has worked out perfectly. The fit is great but the wheels are still a bit big. Nothing that has caused an issue just similar to someone who is 61" tall riding a 29er. But with the proper fitting crank and a good comfortable reach, it just took some getting used to a taller bike. I also came across a black RS Revelation for well under $200 so I did some part swapping between the bikes of daughter #1 and daughter #2. Both of us have been extremely happy with the finished product.
